GMS Notice: Official Faction Status - fencore - 04-05-2012
Our names being on the faction warning list has prompted some reflection and an introspective look on my part. As such, I have chosen to voluntarily remove the GMS official status.
We benefit, as a faction, nothing at all from having official status at this point. We have a few bases, but no indies, no reason to use FR2 or FR5. We have no need to protect our faction's tag. We have a group of people who like to mine in groups and be ridiculously French, and because wedon't need official status to do that, and it's been decided that the best move is to simply remove that pressure.
GMS is not disappearing, but most of you probably haven't seen us more than once or twice anyway, but the faction is not dissolving. No sense in that. Not with the history we have and the love we still have for the faction.
I'll be shuffling important threads to the necessary boards and let the guardians know when to remove our faction section. It'll be within the next day or so.
