Need a character Avatar - Diomedes - 04-05-2012
So, I've got a concept for a character...and ideally I need an image to represent her for forum side communications.
Legate Luceiia Corvus (yes I stole the first name from Jack Whyte, was tempted to stick with Varrus too. I might even still do that :P)
So, roman military officer in space, more or less. Senior enough to get involved in politics and diplomacy and what not.
What I've tried so far that might work, but I'm not completely happy with:
The scout from the movie Centurion (google Olga Centurion)
Kahlan from the legend of the seeker in travelling leathers
Anyone have any other suggestions for me to look at? I haven't had much luck with searches for Athena, Minerva etc.
Also, it can have more of a scifi vibe to it, doesn't need to be carrying a gladium exactly here.
And before anyone asks why flood:
Seemed like it would be more fun here. Post at will....

Posting it in flood is quite a pointless but you should rather include faction which that character would be in...

As I said, flood because it isn't exactly critical. And for fun.
Character will be part of the Republic of Latium that Khassym is trying to start up. So, FL ID with Zoner IFF, refugees from outside Sirius fleeing the ruins of their civilization which was built on the ideals of the Roman Republic after fleeing from Earth when the Italian sleeper ship was sabotaged.

Could have some ideas of avatars...How about Selene from the Underworld movie or Rayne from the Bloodrayne games?
Was planning to use one of them for a future gallic character of mine but oh well, if you are already planning to create a female char, good luck;)

No worries I won't steal those from you. Rayne is a little much. Selene is good, just not quite what I want. Sonja from the third movie might work very well however. So thanks for the tip, I forgot completely about Underworld :cool:
And I know about the female character thing...just seemed to fit my idea more. The other rendition of this was Rufio Varrus, potential avatar Sir Tristan (Tristram) from the King Arthur movie with Clive Owen.

Hmmmm. Sonja is still a better fit, and I'm pretty happy with this. Unless I come across something else that makes me change my mind.
And I thought about sig requests section, but I'm not requesting any work so.....
