TO Admins - Gordon - 04-05-2012 This is a Suggestion, THe bases and stuff is Fr^^^^^^ kool, but until a certain part, the problem is that it would be lots of lolwuts that will put a base in every system and not only 1 player, it would be alot of people. My suggestion is that you put rules like this ones: U no supply base, admins will delet them U no use base, Admins will delete them ( 1 or 2 ) bases per system and other rules and stuff, admins please pay atention:) AND THIS IS ONLY A SUGGESTION :rtfm: TO Admins - Charos - 04-05-2012 Bases will die if they're not supplied. TO Admins - sindroms - 04-05-2012 ' Wrote:Bases will die if they're not supplied. Also, bases are now actively getting blown up by anything with a gun. Including trade lanes. TO Admins - Veygaar - 04-05-2012 Someone didn't do their homework.... TO Admins - Blackwood - 04-05-2012 I thought bases destroyed themselves if they run out of supplies. Besides, bases are hard enough to maintain already that the likelihood of more than two bases appearing in any given system is very unlikely. TO Admins - Zapp - 04-05-2012 The great thing about Discovery is that rules are being removed as game mechanics make them unnecessary. For instance, it used to be that cruising in a fight meant you were immediately disengaged. Now, there's cruise drain and that rule wasn't needed and removed. This lowers the amount of sanction paperwork admins need to process and lets them focus on other, more important things. It's only logical that, with something like this, that the game mechanics are set up such that the bases will "police" themselves. For instance, a base that goes unsupplied automatically explodes. |
