an Idea for player owned bases.... - pitockm - 04-13-2012 so here we go....most of players in disco...may visited WOW! yeah.... there is a market there....and people just wait and sell their stuff or craft new items for others. it can used some how....like a system in disco...which belongs to sirius wide market and trading center? etc. in that system....guns wont shoot...like the times that you go in Cruise with your ship...your guns get locked. what can we do there? i tell you 1 thing that can happen in a system like this and other uses up to players need. there is some bases....like 20 or 25 there.....and just Belong to DSE or Renzu or any other company which makes ships! so....if some one wants a cap ship...he/she MUST bring Stuff to a base....so base could use stuff to build the ship.....first in contract...you pay for blueprints...which is 700 mils...(can change...) also for a new thing...named Grabber! then you supply your base.....after you contracted with a base....Just you can supply it..and Just you Must supply it if you want a Cap ship! ( Just! ) once ship is ready...if its a Lib navy capship ....it goes to NY or norfolk by a /undock norfolk/manhattan same goes for other ships/factions. what happens if your cap ship blowed up? here is Grabber part....when ship is on 10% hull...it jumps out of ship...and goes in 2 km of your ship..which got blown up last 2 sec....so it will activate the hull Grabber...and your ship hull will get packed.(IN RP!) so ...some renzu or DSE ships will come and deliver your ship hull parts to your base(IN RP) but meanwhile you are re spawned in ship maker base...that made your ship. so if you undock...you face an error due to you got no ship to fly....for example. you see new Conn usage? like /conn? so when you die....you go back to station....then you wait there for 10 hours or so...once ship got repaired then you go to your last docked point by mentioned way. ----traders are doing well....and balanced but.....this system...that contains just many number of bases....can improve some new ways of RP + fun with trading. discuss please... thanks for your time people! an Idea for player owned bases.... - Tachyon - 04-13-2012 To make it short, you want please to supply bases in order to get their ships ? Anywaaaaaaays. Ship Building? It'd be far easier to just buy the ship and outfit it how you want. As for the RP of "Building one" Pretty sure they do that in The New & Commerce section of the forums for you. |
