[Suggestion] Merge the Corsair official factions under one roof - SpaceTime - 04-22-2012 Right now we have 3 official factions with the same roleplay and they almost all the time combine their ingame operations. Of course each one of them have their own personal roleplay differences and structure, which however they can easily keep under a combined roof. That way new corsair factions can also be hosted under the shared official corsair tag and being given a voice in serious decisions as well. Feel free to comment. [Suggestion] Merge the Corsair official factions under one roof - Jack_Henderson - 04-22-2012 I actually saw some differences in RP between the different Corsair factions. Just saying. [Suggestion] Merge the Corsair official factions under one roof - Vito - 04-22-2012 You could be right if it wasn't for the fact that all three sair factions have different RP, different aims and different areas of operations. The Council of Elders has been working for years now and its the voice you mentioned, the one that makes the important decisions. All factions have a large autonomy, but the important stuff is always discussed in the Council [Suggestion] Merge the Corsair official factions under one roof - Ursus - 04-22-2012 Better idea: copy the federalist structure of the corsairs to the other NPC factions [Suggestion] Merge the Corsair official factions under one roof - Prysin - 04-22-2012 ' Wrote:Better idea: copy the federalist structure of the corsairs to the other NPC factions yeah.... We actually have a sensible goverment.... 9 people rule the nation, yup, 9 players rule it, 3 indies, 2 from each official faction.. that means noone can be powermongers in there, its simply not possible. Cuz the others will overrule him/her [Suggestion] Merge the Corsair official factions under one roof - Benjamin - 04-22-2012 I think the current set up works well for corsairs, but wouldn't work for many other groups. [Suggestion] Merge the Corsair official factions under one roof - Madvillain - 04-22-2012 Nothing wrong with sairs leadership atm. [Suggestion] Merge the Corsair official factions under one roof - Chico - 04-22-2012 Quote:I think the current set up works well for corsairs, but wouldn't work for many other groups. It isn't always easy but it can work. It just takes desire. Quote:Right now we have 3 official factions with the same roleplay and they almost all the time combine their ingame operations. The roleplay is different. quite obviously so to those that play in that area anything other than pew pew. Operations are rarely combined but we will all generally support each other. With regard to combining them to 'free up' official corsair spots, the Zoners used to have three official factions. Now they have two. We may hope to see a third re-emerge from the ashes but either way, it doesn't mean corsair ID's would be up for grabs. [Suggestion] Merge the Corsair official factions under one roof - Jansen - 04-22-2012 I dont think that merging them would do any good. All have a different kind of RP as well as different ways of dealing things, each of them is unique enough to justify being a faction of its own. Except for the fact that the sair leadership doesnt really control anything, TBH chooses to do whatever it wants, regardless (as evidence earlier this year) - and the indies never listen to you. |
