Farewell post. - Cdys - 05-01-2012 So, I have decided to leave this server and the game because of the things that happened between me and some admins. The truth is that I didn't want to leave but I feel somehow betrayed and it will be hard for me to play here anymore. I don't like someone to threaten me with sanctions because I like to follow the rules and the fair play even if this server is a private one. I will miss this game and the community but all the good things come to an end. Maybe you didn't know me well but I am sure I have met and rp'ed with most of you as an indy in the game. My English didn't help me to join a faction and rp with the way I wanted but I had in mind to join one in the future. Anyway, with this small farewell post I also wanted to take some opinions with what is better to do with my credits, codenames and ships. I was thinking to give them for free of course but I don't know which is the best way to do it. I prefer to give them to many people and if possible to new players to help them with a better start in this community. But how can I find them? I am talking about 2 billion credits, 400 and something codename weapons and 20-30 ships with a cruiser as the biggest of them. I didn't want to buy anything bigger since I couldn't role play with it good enough. So, any advices? Farewell post. - Ursus - 05-01-2012 My advice is take a couple of weeks to cool down, then think about what you want to do while you are calm. Sometimes the game can be very irritating, and you have to go do something else for a little while. Farewell post. - Snak5 - 05-01-2012 Well. You could invest in what I am planning to do - start a faction, which will be new breeze to Disco, as we will not only be presenting new ideas, but will also actively recuit people in need of guidance in roleplay, rules as well as solid financial state where one can use trade ship to its full potential. I also intend to do indepth guides to trading tips and piracy tips. If you do wish to find out more, PM me or add me on Skype: arthurs3.lt Also, I would like to invite you to join us. Maybe new company of friends and colleagues with casual gameplay in mind will suit you well. Farewell post. - sindroms - 05-01-2012 Go away. Come back with an alt. Make a fresh start. Farewell post. - Charos - 05-01-2012 Sad to see you go, a true Spartan falls 8( Farewell post. - Govedo13 - 05-01-2012 http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=124704 According to this they did had legit reason to shoot you in RP and in the rules. You as corsair indie might like and respect this RP or just ignore it but you cannot ignore the fact that others might respect this RP and have right on such according to FR2. Mind that you are not right to leave because of that- I also use golden blades and I just get used to avoid detection, you could learn this too may be you want to chill a bit and take a break if one blue msg can make you so sad.. Mind that admins do punish factions for shooting indies without good reasons too: http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?sh...p;hl Farewell post. - Cdys - 05-01-2012 ' Wrote:http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=124704 Nah the sanction report was about a Navy ID person who killed me for the weapon when i had a freelancer character. I already said that Benitez people have never killed me. The sanction report was a violation and i was threatened with sanctions because I wanted to know why the admins prefered to ignore my reports instead of sanctioning that player. But, forget it. It is not worth it. Farewell post. - Manuel Smith - 05-01-2012 Hey, just take a break for some days / weeks and come back then ;) Farewell post. - Garrett Jax - 05-01-2012 So, you're going to quit because a violation report didn't go your way? I would try to talk you off the ledge, but I have a feeling something equally minor would put you right back on there. You could have added one more saying that some people may be an exception so things like these don't happen again in the future. |
