Okay. My FL is glitching. Graphics. Glitching. People's names are replaced with random bits of text, and the screen blinks at random to black. Sometimes back, sometimes not.
I turned off the overclocking on my card, an XFX nVidia 7600GT.
I reinstalled FL twice, Disco off, reinstall, Disco on.
Reinstalled the card.

Freelancer uses XML to run.
Windows Updates for XPSP2 users downloaded a new version of the Parser within the last three weeks, it may of caused problems for your game. Didn't effect mine however, but might as well give it a shot? Run the game, let us know what happens.
