At Detroit Munitions we strive to make the best on the market and to this day remain the primary manufacturer and retailer of weapons in all of Sirius. With our Partnership with Ageira Technologies over the years, we have managed to not only increase the quality of our weapons immensely but have become the number one supplier of arms for both the Liberty Navy, Liberty Security Force, and Liberty Police Inc.
With the recent increase in demands for weaponry, our goals now are to increase production of our current lines of weapons and vehicles as well as expand production and research into newer and better technology.

DM's last update came in December, when I handed over leadership of it to Tales. Unfortunately, a month later he was AWOL and has not shown himself since. As such, I looked for a new CEO to take his place, and Slainte has volunteered to do so (not yet set in stone, check back in a day for confirmation). I've accepted his offer to become CEO, and he will be the official faction leader of Detroit Munitions from this point forward. When I first gave DM to another person to be CEO, it was due to getting leadership of both GRN and BAF handed to me a short distance apart, which took pretty much all of my time. As such, DM was virtually non-existant for a few months. Since Tales left, that happened again. Now I'm free from those two and can devote some more time to DM| (and another project in a month or two, depending on how well Slainte does with DM| and if my daily involvement is needed or not).
DM| is getting a revival and the two of us feel with the new player bases, we can get a lot of roleplay and activity out of this faction.
Currently we have no intention of seeking official status under any ID. We also have always worked with the Ageira| faction and will continue to do so, given the unique situation that Detroit Munitions, the company, has with Ageira Technologies.
That said, our diplomacy and our business practices are separate from theirs. We have a partnership, but are not a subsidiary of Ageira. They have the patents for Liberty's fighter weaponry, and the exclusive contract for supplying the LN, and we make those weapons and sell them under that contract. That, and Ageira's ownership of the station that serves as our production headquarters, is the extent of our lore partnership. As such, deals with DM|, or deals with Ageira, does not necessarily mean you also have relations with the other half of the partnership. However, piss one of us off and it's likely the other won't really like you either.
Since we're currently in the midst of rebuilding, we won't be entering into any contracts for the next week or two.

Some more minor improvements made on the site. Non-lethal weapons section added, products will be added soon™! Various other small changes.
I welcome any feedback on the site and especially any corrections for typos or my failing when it comes to physics. Though I do try to put a fair bit of research into the descriptions of the products.

Structures section added to Product list, ODW-1 Vigilant and TRS Array moved to said section. GSD Pylon (Ground-based Shield Dome Pylon) and Variable Energy Generator products and descriptions added, development of them will be announced publicly in-RP within the next 24 hours. The GSD Pylon is still in the development phase and only prototypes are going to exist. Those of you with factions that have planetary settlements in dangerous sections of the galaxy, keep an eye on the comm channel, you might get a call about some field testing.
Next working on non-lethal weapons. I hope to have several done tonight, on request of Greyhound Transportation.
