LIberty Rogues related question - Jack Torrance - 06-06-2012 Hey, I'm gonna make LR char, using gunboat or probably even one of the capitals (mostly because I suck badly at flying smaller ships). Since I'm not ready yet to apply to official LR player faction I assume it's still ok for me to fly LR capital ship, of course with LR ID/tag but WITHOUT a "LR-..." part in front of the name character? I just wanna make sure I can fly LR capital without being in official faction, cause I wanna give myself enough time to gain experience, play cool and steady for now, and when time comes apply officially to LR. Jack LIberty Rogues related question - Snak6 - 06-06-2012 Yes you can fly cap ships being indie with appropriate ID. LIberty Rogues related question - Echo 7-7 - 06-06-2012 Membership in an Official Player Faction is not required to fly a Capital Ship in any NPC faction. Ie. You don't need to be in LR- to fly a Rogue Scylla. (For the record, I don't think LR- fly Scyllas much anyway.) Edit @ Geckon; don't you have anything better to do than try and ninja my posts with shorter, more crude versions of the same content? Your rules-lawyer skills need work.:P LIberty Rogues related question - Snak6 - 06-06-2012 ' Wrote:Your rules-lawyer skills need work.:PThey are as sharp as ever. I can rule shark 9/10 cases. LIberty Rogues related question - Jack Torrance - 06-06-2012 I was 99% sure of it, but since LR player faction is - in my opinion - quite strong and active, I didn't want to risk ANY mistake - thanks for quick answers. LIberty Rogues related question - Evan_ - 06-06-2012 Also I'd stay away from the GB. Either make it a Scylla or a Barghest. Barg's firepower is on par with the GB's (if not more with SNAC, Nova, and HF rockets), not much smaller (:)) but with it's speed and maneuverability, you can get out of more situations. LIberty Rogues related question - Widow - 06-06-2012 As the Evil Hussy of the LR- faction, with Altejago's confirmation: Yeah, you can use the Scylla. We would rather you didn't, but we can't stop you. GBs are fine to use. Bombers are probably better. It has less armour, but more punch. I need a bigger, slower ship cause I don't like quick fights ;( Not my fault, it's just the way it is. And I know, that with proper equipment and some strategy (support, support!!!) I can 'handle' a bigger ships (doesn't mean I win lots of fights cause generally I suck BADLY at PvP, but at least I know "what's going on around me":D) And for me capital ships are more cooler to RP, cause you got crew, responsibility, so at least I try to play it in realistic way - read: I don't make SO MUCH stupid mistakes. At least I hope so...;) LIberty Rogues related question - Snak6 - 06-06-2012 Barghest is just as slow as some GBs. It would help since I really wanna play LR capship at Liberty but don't wanna make you guys angry-too-much;)Mostly because I really respect the way LR faction make RP - ingame and on forums. |
