Can't Direct Connect? - Turbo123 - 07-02-2012
Hello, I have played DC on and off and am interested in hosting my own server. I have it up and running with FLHook 2.0 saying A-OK, But I cannot figure out how to Direct Connect seeing as I have to wait a week for the server to be added into the GSL.
Here is my Discovery Shortcut "P:\Users\Turbo123\AppData\Local\Discovery Freelancer 4.86.0\EXE\Freelancer.exe" -sgameguys.dyndns.org:2302
I try both LAN and Multiplayer and it doesn't show up. Is there any advice you can give me to why? I would like to work on my server and get it set up during the week it's not on the Discovery GSL.
(Also I am getting this error message http://www.flserver.de/getgraph_singlesrv....p;timeframe=day on FLServer.de, My server is up and running and it's been about an hour since I added it to the list. Not sure if it takes a while longer or if it's something on my end)

I've seen instances where flserver won't bind to the right ports under Win 7 / 2008 R2 and I've never understood why.
In a CMD prompt, type "netstat -a -n" and ensure you have a UDP connection for port 2302.
By default you should see any local servers on your LAN.
