Nope.. sorry.. the MP Account Id is on your computer, not stored on the server.

my mate whent and modded it with discovery engaged, and he messed it up totaly, and i forgot it was account baced not IP baced char system online so i didnt give it a second thought

people, I don't know what's the prob, I reinstalled FL 4-5 times lately on my sys (same install of XP) and every time I got the same MP account ID...
anyway, since this tends 2 happen very often, here's how u backup:
(the simple way)
go to Start Menu>Microsoft Games>Freelancer>Examine my account ID
u print, write down on a paper or something and put it in a safe place (don't forget where u put it)
(the less simple way)
find C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\Exe\myflaccountid.hta double-click on it

there are more complicated ways but if u already know this - u know the other ways (probably) and btw, I think there's somewhere on this forum in a sticky too :rtfm:

I guess the only way to get them back is by compensation. If you ask the admins nicely.
