First thing that is not entirely connected is the use of civilian ship when your own is bugged, so I'm headed to Leon to buy an Arrwing Light Fighter which will render all my shots invisible to enemies.... and everyone will be happy.
Starting ooRP guns/ships cleaning here seems a bit strange to me, looking around on other factions.

About the Civilian shieldbusters
I tried to ask at some point if they shouldn't be lawfulls only... and general opinion was that they are open to anyone.
Now it seems admins don't agree...
So guestion is who can use them?
The most radical and right opinion would be that only lawfulls and Lane Hackers.

But I guess in the sanction it's because the Corsairs have their own shieldbusters, why use civilian ones?

all lawfuls, - shieldbusters in particular may be used by hackers and xenos, i think. - and thats it
we have freelancing pirates that gotto choose a side, corsair sides that have a full range of weapons and the outcasts, too. - everyone has shieldbusters, no need for anyone to look beyong the fence.
edit: i am not so sure about ALL the outcast allies being allowed to use the debilitators. - imo, it should "only" be hackers. as they re not fulfiling preorders for the weapons, but make "on the spot" raids to equip their own ships. - but, thats up to interpretation.

Only Civilians, Xenos and Hackers in my modest opinion.
There is no need to let the others use them if they have their own equivalent.

1st Corsairs don't have any own LVL 8 shieldbuster
Also note that some lawfull factions use full BHG loadout when they have two lvl 9 guns of their own.

ah, i think i heard something about xenos raiding detroit - don t quote me on that one. - thats what i picked up in chat in NY ( like its any proof what you pick up in NY:laugh:)
@mjolnir: now, peronally, i think everyone should be allowed to use civi gear.
most pirates do anyway - gaians fly eagles, - its not like civi gear is hidden away like military gear. its meant to be sold to everyone that can pay for it. ( now, ageira won t sell the hackers their equipment, but the hackers take it anyway ) - but i don t think ageira has problems selling debilitators to gaians. for example.
whats needed ( sooner or later ) is a FULL list of whats allowed and where... cause "common sense" won t get us far there. - "my" common sense tells me, that i can use debilitators on any ship.

Maybe couse they are the nearest neighbors and could have easily stolen it. Just a though. But on the other hand and I don't see any other possible reasons.

i think from now on i will report all who are unfriendly or enemy to order and use armour upgrades...all unwlafulls using sunlsayer torpedo, .because using them is again rules so much as using civilian weapons on corsair ship.
and about shield busters. how many class 8 shield busters are in game? i think exactly 1. light fighter has 2x8 and 2x9 slot. so when you put tizonas to class 9,you have 2xclass 8 free,it is efective loadout? hull busters class 8? for corsair?
and what is funiest on this is, that some people can not live with fact,that corsairs can win events with using something smaller,lighter and more agile.everything was fine when corsairs loose,but everythign is bad,when they find a way how to win. so i hope now you are happy...

I think they are referring to Detroit Munitions. Which by the way manufacture Debilators. So theres the connection. And you also sometimes spot Xeno NPC's attacking that station , also Pueblo Station which also haves Debilators.
Edit: I'm pretty certain it's Detroit Munitions, I haven't heard of any other places called something with Detroit. They do mention Ageira which is the operating faction of the two stations: Detroit Munitions and Pueblo Station.
