Origins of Shensuke Inamoto - Antubis - 05-21-2008 801 A.S. Location: New Tokyo, Kusari Karabuto Inamoto cut a forlorn figure on the bridge of his Gunboat all other crewman had been replaced by droids as all the manpower was needed for the defence of New Tokyo. He surveryed the chaotic scene outside with an eerie calm he still could not beleive it had come to this, The Kusari fleet had crumbled their lines shattered by the onslaught of the Reinland fleet and outflanked by hundreds of unidentified blue craft, defeat was inevitable. "well" he thought, "theres only one thing left to do" Despite heavy fire he manouvered the agile gunboat 7k from the epicentre of the battle, turned 180 degrees and locked all systems onto the reinland battleship that had begun bombarding Roppongi station. His hands moved like lightning across the primary control panel the heavy metallic voice of the compuer echoed back his commands: "Core overload will occur when hull inegrity is comprimised, shield batteries and nanobots released, course set, cruise engaged". Inamoto sat back and closed his eyes as the ship roared into life onto its predestined course, the midsection of the Reinland battleship. "Its the thing to do i vowed to protect Kusari with my life and thats exactly what i shall do" he mused. IMPACT IN 5, 4, 3, 2, 1................. Origins of Shensuke Inamoto - Antubis - 05-21-2008 "0..." The ship lurched out of control and was buffeted by debris however it remained intact. "ERROR IMPACT NOT REGISTERED" the computer exclaimed. Inamoto quickly opened his eyes, "impossible" he thought "The ship was on a direct collision course with that Reinland monstrosity" Inamoto looked at the viewing console, The Reinland batleship lay in pieces it was completely destroyed, unbeknownst to Inamoto a lucky salvo from New Tokyo's planetary defence grid had breached the enginge housing and ore of he Reinland ressel causing its obliteration mere seconds before Karabuto Inamoto had flown straight through it. Despite the destruction of the Reinland flagship the last traces of the Kusari fleet were been swept away. Amazed by his survival Inamoto said to himself "Well today i shall not die" as he fled the scene. With a heavy heart he knew what he was doing, desertion carried the death penalty in Kusari. With slow realisation he knew he could get far ib his damaged vessel and with reluctance engaged the computer to find a base on which he could land. The computer reported back "ALL SAMURA, KISHIRO, POLICE AND NAVAL BASES IN THE NEW TOKYO SECTOR ARE UNDER HEVAY BOMBARDMENT, KABUKICHO DEPOT REMAINS UNSCATHED PRESUMARABLY UNDISCOVERED BY HOSTILE FORCES." Inamoto set his course to Kabukichu to await his death or salvation. Origins of Shensuke Inamoto - Antubis - 05-21-2008 815 A.S Kabukicho depot, New Tokyo Kusari After years of languishing in Kabukhico Inamoto was amazed the things he discovered whilst at the heart of the Hogosha operations, He found out that the Hogosha were nothing but a crime sindicate with a controlling stake in the Kusari government, the seemingly vile propoganda spread by the blood dragons on some levels seems enicingly accurate. He discovered that honour was replaced by money here and at great personal cost he changed his identity to Shensuke Inamoto and replaced the indentification indicators on his ship so he could fly amongst Kusari in relative safety. His personal wealth soon diminished and he prepared to leave the base, sickened by the level of corruption prevelant in the hierachy of Kusari society he realised he could never join the Kusari armed forces yet could still not fire a shot in anger against them. It was at this point he decided after exploring Sirius he would become a mercanary, a soldier for hire... |
