Re: Black-Box flight recorders
Today, Myself and [DTJ]-Daz have been experimenting with a new type of black-box for use on [DTJ] vessels
The device itself is small and noninvasive of the cockpit. It sits on the side of the comm console and sends it's information to be stored by a bio-neural gel-pack in the escape pod.
Current testing has proved the device to be sturdy and reliable.
The black-box will record all activity that happens via gun-cam, along with audio captured from a piezo on the lower hull of each vessel. It doesn't seem to affect handling or ability of any ships so far.
Starting today, black-boxes will be fitted to:

[DTJ]-Security|Tom
[DTJ]-Daz
[DTJ]-Security|Daz
and any others that request one, and have the correct socket to power it in their cockpit.
All of this is due to the rising rate of crime in Sirius, and the need to record evidence for protection against personal liability

Re: Faulty Transmitter Dish
It seems we are currently experiencing a drop in transmitter power, and a lack of long distance comm ability on the secure channels.
this means we cannot answer any personally encrypted messages until our technical team has repaired the main transmitter array on DTJ Depot
the transponders and subspace radios in our ships should all be working fine
//what this means in general speak... our PM outbox on the forums has picked up the 'not sent' bug, and we are waiting for admins to fix the problem. This seems to be a widespread issue, not just limited to DTJ.
our on-board staff scientists have detected damage done due to an unusual pulse in subspace
It may have weakened transmitters on other stations too
//TL;DR our PM outbox is broken, you'll have to contact us inRP
