Esteban Alvarez, 75th - Ander_K - 11-09-2012 Name: Esteban Alvarez Date of birth: 28 June 778 A.S. (Age 41) Blood type: AB(IV) Rh- Marital Status: Divorced Height: 196 cm Weight: 86 kg Alvarez family has rather ancient and proud history, descending from a captain of intersystem cargo lighter registries to Hispania sleeper ship. So transportation became a family business and naturally evolved to smuggling when a Sirian-wide cardamine distribution begins. Alvarez family became so good at smuggling that nobody expects their deliveries, sometimes even a customer. While smuggling provides a significant profit Alvarez family became wealthy, but never gains substantial influence within Maltese society, always considered being eccentrics at least. ![]() At 803 A.S. Esteban married Julia Lorka by his father order. As Esteban never intended to have children it was a mismarriage and ended by a divorce after a death of Angel-Jose Alvarez. Angel-Jose Alvarez died in an accident at 810 A.S. and a red hat marking the head of Alvarez family was passed to Esteban’s older brother Eduardo. ![]() RE: Esteban Alvarez, 75th - Ander_K - 12-01-2012 So, one month had passed since I've enlisted in the 75th Squadron. And I never feel any regrets on my decision, not for a moment. Lots and lots things had happened and still keep happening. I'm flying a nimble and fragile LF. Any mistake can be fatal, thats not a thick plated BW transport, and adrenaline rush is revitalizing me, helping me feel alive again. I've visited that blasted Gallia, vast systems populated by the strangest people I've seen. Even citizens of Kusari are more comprehensible to me. And that brigands ritual - "Grand Guilt Tin-tin" I've heard about, ugh. It's good to be back to Malta, I'd like to forget that strange culture, but they are just one system away from Alpha with an awfully extensive war fleet, so all Maltese people should be aware of this barbarians. 75th squadron is growing every day due to Comandantes Claes charisma and exceptional combat prowess. I'm lucky to get trained by Comandante, cause as I see now I'm far away from being even proficient with a LF. Fantasmi is running out of free space for new recruits and guess what will be a cure for this problem! Yesterday Comandante, Henrique, Camilla and me visited a Storta, which was kindly sold to senora Claes by 101st administration, or a ruin of a Storta I'd say. Anyway me and Camilla were able to reengage its reactors and even not to blown all ship to heavens, (Henriques paranoia can be useful at times). Maybe we'll have a house-warming party soon. Oh, speaking of parties I've attended Camillas birthday one and half week ago. It was fun, but I've sat in the corner all evening, better this way, cause I can be quite intolerable as all Alvarezes. So I've got a new goal. My life is going on, and I'm again eager to see what it'll bring to me next day. RE: Esteban Alvarez, 75th - Ander_K - 01-25-2013 Haven’t written for awhile, since my New Year vacation I’ve taken to go skiing, I’ve no contacts with squadron members except Camilla and Horacio. And the most disturbing thing is absence of the Comandante, Camilla states that, according to her information Comandante had faced some problems and wouldn’t be available for some time. So I have to take a responsibility for squadrons logistic and finalize that deal with the Junkers Congress concerning supplies for La Falange D’oro repair. Congress ships have no access to Carthagena Shipyard and I’m not sure that our request to grant them access to Omicron-81 guard system will be fulfilled. I made an attempt to establish staging point for this delivery, but it seems that owners of Albion Light ignored my request, so we’ll have to use Valetta, though it’s pretty busy and probably will cost me a lot. Though all these cares are trifles compared to a gift I’ve received that day from a great Guardian Spirit. The routine patrol through Kusari space and Taus turns out to be a crucial moment of my life. Never see anything that can be compared to a magnificence of guardian spirits. My search in Bretonia space wasn’t successful; I’ve found only a dormant supply depot. This looks like a cruel joke on me, but I won’t give up. As I’ve finished with this delivery problem I’ll leave to Magellan and try to search “east” borders of the Barrier. I’m sure that I’ll have every prospect of success this time, to see what was hidden for centuries, to touch legacy of guardian spirits; and return to see Comandante back in business, to make myself at home at some stateroom aboard La Falange D’oro. RE: Esteban Alvarez, 75th - Ander_K - 01-28-2013 After entering ancient jumpgate something changed. This jump wasn't alike any of jumps before. Scimitar fly like a drunken snipe. ![]() ![]() //Esteban look at the monitor. ![]() Nebula veils system solars and dark matter begin to eat up ships hull and external equipment, even additional armor plating installed on Estebans fighter wasn't able to protect against this particle bombardment. ![]() ![]() Suddenly Esteban spots a line of objects stretched across the nebula, looking much like a trade lane. ![]() "And this "lanes" goes from that place to where?" was a momentary thought accompanied by a sharp turn. He nearly missed the station shaded by a treacherous nebula. ![]() ![]() The Station glows in a calm violet light, shows no aggression, waiting for discoverer. ![]() Agile Scimitar makes another turn around, while Esteban admires his gift, then make its way to what looks like a landing bays. //Docking sequence initiated... |
