My bro got it on xbox so I've been playing it a little. It's actually not too bad. I've generally not liked CoDs direction in recent years (or rather lack of direction) but I'm having fun with this one.
I was hoping for some suedo laser guns like 2142 had. But most of the weapons are actually based on RL guns: vector, MTAR ect. What can I say? Sci fi is cool.

If you want a game with a competitive multiplayer atmosphere, choose Counter Strike series. It doesnt demand much graphics power and its on sale on Steam for 2.49 USD.
