Treaties for folks coming to Bretonia to Gangbang Gauls. - Hone - 11-26-2012
So a lot of people want to shoot the Gallians it seems, which often means theres a lot of foreign caps in Bretonia, as a BPA man Im often not sure what the most recent laws are.
The main ones are the CR and the LN, thanks to Summer for pointing me to this thread about the CR, but it took months to find it and its not in the treaty database, is it ratified, is it public knowledge? According to forum rules only the participants can see the threads, so should my BPA even see it INRP? It seems ridiculous that he shouldnt but hey...
Then there are the LN, Ive seen them helping us often, and HEARD vaugely about a treaty, but never actually seen one, and its not in the treaty database either. Anyone know what the details are? Does it apply to indies? Ect.
So could someone show me what the actual treaties are, if any, and update the database please? Cheers.

All I know is, that the Liberty Air Force (LAF|), is allowed to enter Bretonia Space with their snubs, and support them against gauls. Though since Avalanche has quit, the faction died, and I've never seen any LN ID'd ships in Leeds again. Myself, I've kept my Guardian and log it now and then to join Leeds pews.
Here's a link to a chat with the BIS, that the forum search gave me. But I think there was more, can't find it though.
But in general, I think there must be another treaty, because I've often seen BAF| ships in New York and California aswell.

playing a gallic it can also be difficult sometimes to know who intends on shooting at you once they gain the upper hand. first time fighting a combined SCRA/BAF/LN force was slightly confusing... a list of rp treaties i could meta-game for information (only the stuff my character would know in-rp) would be good.

It's not too hard to figure out as a Gaul.
Except for the Mollies, Gaians, IMG and the two neutral houses (with their lawfuls and unlawfuls included) pretty much everything is going to shoot at you.

ye i know when the battle is on its pew at everything. but sometimes you'll encounter a single ship or two when building up or when roaming, and its in those situations I am unsure. for instance letting BHG folks sit around and do whatever they are up to (hunting criminals i suppose), only to find them joining forces with the baffies once they outnumber us. stuff like that is confusing in the beginning. the same with scra and others. i know now that i should just shoot everything, but it would be easier for all parties if there was a list of reference.

Gauls sounds like the grammatically correct version to me. That's the one I use, anyway.
As for treaties, we're working to compile a meta-database people can read to keep themselves informed. Should be live fairly soon.

I would agree, however for a reason that still eludes me, gauls isn't used by the dev team. Everything is referred to as Gallic, so that's why.

The information I've been told regarding to us (Thats us as SFC| not us as Navy) is that its transports and snubs only for tradeing. Capitals are allowed under specific conditions, mainly that the BAF has asked US (Not the other way around) and the [LN] have agreed. To my knowledge (at time of writeing) we've only gone into Bretonia twice with anything other than a snub or transport, and the only ship bigger than a gunboat we've flown in there was Cali.
Such information would be nice. But currently we're only going in under the request of either [LN] or BAF| anyway, so I doubt there will be any significant complications. I doubt the BAF| would complain that we responded to thier request of helping them, especially when we leave when asked.
