multiple ship question - Bootstrap - 11-26-2012
I've seen quite a few references to people having multiple ships, is this just RPing different game characters as being the same RP character? or is there actually a way of having the same character with multiple ships? Secondly if it is just different characters counting as one is there a good way of keeping reps the same?

The same character can have multiple ships he pilots. For example my RM leutnant has a wraith and a berg. However people can also have multiple characters. As my RM leutnant has nothing to do with my OS&C or my ALG.

People have different character slots filled for one character to have multiple ships.
Sounds confusing, so I'll explain.
My Liberty Navy, Kohaku Ueda, has 5 ships. Since there is no way to switch ships like in EVE, I have to have different names for each one as they're technically "different characters".

The top three ships are owned by one character, and the bottom two by another. You'll see the small difference in the first two, there being a comma in place of a period. That's just because you can't have 2 ships with the same name on the server.
And the only way to have them similarly repped is to do it yourself. There's no way to share reputation across ships.

Do whatever makes sense to you, and use the (obvious) clues people leave for you. Sometimes you see the same character name with different punctuation, and in that case the player is telling you that they are all the same char in different ships so he wants you to play along with it. Ships with anonymous names should be treated that way too.
