Incom wants you! - ctcart3 - 06-03-2008

First and foremost I want to make sure that everyone understands that this is an Unoffical faction. We are working towards making it offical. We need 10 new members to be official, so recruiting may close after our ten is met to get things more organized.

Incom Corporation

Objective: The main objective of the Incom Corporation, here out known as Incom, is to make money in the trading of goods and services across all systems of Sirius.

Affiliation: Incom is a division of Agiera Technology and has a close partnership with Deep Space Engineering. Incom will be stationed at The Pueblo Station.

Fleet: The Incom fleet will be comprised of mostly trading vessels. However, fighters will also be employed. Most of the Incom fleet will spend its time making trade runs between systems. The fighers will be assigned to patrol Incom space and also escourt transports on trade runs. The standard fighter that Incom will fly is the Raven Claw, available at Battleship Rio Grande in Colorado. All Incom personnel are required to maintain a fighter to defend interests at all times.

Insignia: All Incom ships are to have the insignia [Incom] before their name. Transports and freighters are to have INT preceding the vessels name. The insignia for a trader would be [Incom]INT-Ship name. Fighters are held to the same insignia. A small change is to me made though. A fighter will use the pilots name, either real or role play. [Incom]Joe.Smith. No two ships in the fleet can have the same name.

Trading: Incom will comply with the rules and regulations set forth by the four houses of Sirius. Incom traders will not carry any illegal cargo at any time. All traders must understand that they work for Incom, therfore a percentage will be taken from their profits by the CFO. At the end of a period yet to be determined a percentage of Incoms profits will be returned. Incom will set up all new traders with a trading vessel and will assist employees in purchasing new ships. The goal is to have every trader under the Incom banner in Heavy Tankers. Traders will have to work their way up to the Heavy Tanker. Every milestone dollar amount given to the CFO the Trader will receive a ship upgrade. Traders can also buy their own traders if they wish as long as it agrees with role play.

Escourts: The main function of an escourt is to assist the freighters on their runs. Ideally, we want two fighters per tanker. The fighters will be held somewhat accountable if their tanker is destroyed. Fighters will be rewarded for defending any Incom vessel from other players. Fighters will also be paid every week.
Other regulations: Incom personnel will not collect bounties or pirate other players. Also, regulating contraband will be left to the authority of the houses. Incom ships will not fire on any friendly or neutral ship unless fired upon first. Any pirates that are encountered names should be written down and reported to Incom fleet commanders. Attack raids will only be decided by Incom fleet commanders and led by them as well. Any Incom employee organizing or directing a raid will be fired and have their Incom account(s) terminated.

Once again we would like to thank you for expressing interest in Incom. We look forward to hearing from you soon. Please direct all requests to me in PM or message Admonitor on the forums.

Just a short question: Why are you using Order ships, while being affiliates to the Liberty house military?

Well a jolly hello there chap.

I saw you on the trade lane today. I was minding my jolly business
when this jolly hostile, showed up on my scanners. Admonitor01.
I have no idea what ship you were using, as I was a bit jolly jumpy
and decided to scarper, afore I found myself in a pickle.
I say. Rather intimidating it was. Being jumped like that.

I had to have two spots of tea after said jolly interruption. With some jolly toast.
With Raspberry jam. And cream. By Jove man, you made me resort to the cream.

You can rest assured I will be looking out for you jolly old chap.
Hope to see you and your jolly faction in space, good sir.

Cheerio.

You need to address this.

Also, why are you working up to a heavy tanker instead of an Advanced Train?

Right, first off, you aren't official if you have more than 10 members, you need 500 million and Admin approval for that.

Second, why are you using Order Ships?

Third, have you talked to the leaders of the Space you are operating in? (As we don't want another OTF incdent)

The use of the Order ships has been addressed and they have been decommissioned.

1. Please explain the meaning of that to me. Where do you get the number 10 from?

2. Why not use the Ageira Technologies name for an Ageira affiliated faction instead of something like Incom, which means nothing to anyone else and will constantly have to be explained? What does Incom mean and where did the name come from?

3. Having a person in a position of leadership in your group who has not just one, but two sanctions under his belt already makes your group look less credible.

Ten people to have the potential to be official, is what he means. He probably wants ten, the requirements are 5 aren't they? They chose the name Incom as it probably means somethng.
