This is something that has been bugging me, you can't fight the AFA without the KNF joining and visa-versa, but isn't it prohibited by the ID's for lawful and pirate ID's to fight together?

The Farmer's Alliance is considered legal in Kusari, much to Synth Food's ire. They are Kusari nationalists, and the government and Samura support them in their quest to purge Kusari of foreigners.

in 'vanilla' freelancer, the farmers alliance were considered pirates/criminals. In discovery that isnt the case, they're allied.

In vanilla, the Farmer's Alliance also has a presence in the Kusari government.
However, their terrorist actions are frowned upon.

But they are violating the restrictions on their IDs, pirate and lawful.
The AFA do pirate in Kyushu.
At the very least the ID should be changed.

The Farmers alliance is a Kusari political organization formed to lobby for govermment subsidies and restrictions on the sale of foreign Food. Bases in kyushu system, they are the main allies of the Hogosha in Kusari space.
farmers are not pirate, farmers just hate all foreign that try to be delivered to kusari. Farmers hate all foreign corporations. and about pirating, only ships that come to our scanners in kusari, are full of diamonds from rheinland. (99,5 percent of them is full of diamond) i think best in rp will be requesting to drop all cargo and destroyign it, to prevent new tokyo diamond market from colapse. but when farmers start requesting that, all traders say no, so all must be destroyed. and that is not good for noone i think.
and AFA never pirate when is in system KNF or KSP... or lawfull forces.

They have a pirate ID, and they violate server rules by violating that ID by pirating and also fighting with the KNF.
It makes no sense RP wise to me that the AFA gets the protection of the lawfuls while engaging in piracy and murder against innocent traders. It's not like the KNF doesn't know the AFA are pirates.
They should be allowed to pirate, or to be lawful, but not both.

According to the FA and their friends in Samura/the government (not and, /, they are effectively the same) non-Kusari are 'criminals' and need to be removed. The government is totally fine with the FA getting foreigners to leave, they'll put on a show that they don't support the FA but they really appreciate them. Notice that the KNF and KSP NEVER offer missions against Hogosha/FA.
