Very fitting rp that comes to my mind could be done by these groups, but there are a lot of others who can fit in perfectly:
+ the acting FP Administrator (storyteller of what the base looks like)
+ [FP1], the Freeport 1 group
+ all Omega 3 + Cambridge parties (these would be the first to respond irply)
+ IMG| which has 3 bases nearby
+ Zoners in general
+ Bretonian civilians / lawfuls / navy (who would likely respond)
+ ALG for cleaning up the mess
+ Cryer for bringing in stuff and personell
+ the TAZ ship with the medical background (name forgotten)
+ and generally everybody who would jump up to help in such a situation
Important: this will only work if roleplayers add their creativity into the mix and work together to create cool scenes, make nice screenshots, express the story with talk about what they do, make up things to carry on the story... etc.
I am really curious and I hope it will be cool.

The woman bows low before the camera, "My dearest condolences to those who have lost, or are currently losing, their lives on Freeport 1. But I don't intend to stand by and simply watch: in fact, allow me to assist in the relief effort, por favor.
"I happened to be at Planet Cambridge on my Garanchou, the Principe.de.Jade, when I picked up the distress call, and I'll gladly divert from my current activities in order to assist, from routine supply-deliveries for the teams working there, to assisting them directly as additional security detail. Yours truly was once an experienced mercenary, so any infidels that seek to cross the teams' path would have to answer to the wrong end of my pistol first.
"... And what do I want in return?" She smiles at the camera, "Why, just the simple fact that I've helped get these poor souls through this misfortune, something that I am unfortunately quite familiar with."
The smile quickly turns to a frown as she continued, "I'll be honest with you. I am of Cretian-descent, which technically makes me Corsario. But at this hour, I do not represent my people's vengeance and fury. The people of Crete have always lived a very brutal existence of constant famine, shortages in supply, and threats of infidels in every flank."
Her expression slowly becomes hardened, her gaze focusing intensely on the camera, "So I come instead to represent the heart of the Corsario, our determination to get through disasters such as this, our sense of unity that transcends any and all differences of opinion and origin, our endurance, and our willingness to stare directly in the face of danger, even death itself if need be, to ensure that no compadre should ever be left behind. I offer all these... and more, to ensure the guaranteed survival and continuation of Freeport 1."
The woman then sighs tiredly at the camera, "I know the words of a single madre would probably not be enough to convince you, but that's not going to stop me from doing my darnest to see to it that every single victimed man, woman and child of Freeport 1 will get through this darkest hour, with hope in their weary hearts, and a vision in their eyes for a greater, brighter future."

Thank you for all who participated.
It was AWESOME! I had never thought that a simple story like "RP a first response to a catastrophe" could create this amount of interaction and rp. Feedback and criticism, and anything oorp goes into this thread.
