ZOI map - chovynz - 06-05-2008

Hi all.

I've started a first draft of the template ZOI map.
Please let me know what systems are missing and
where they go, if there are any mistakes etc.

Feel free to mutilate my map. I will update this first posted image as I receive input.
Please pm me or (on this thread) Any starmaps you have, that you think might be useful.

My Goals with this map.
Phase 1
  • <strike>
  • Get all the Systems on the map. (All.)</strike> Done
  • Get all the Jump routes
  • Change paths to indicate Jump hole routes
  • Fix any mistakes
Phase 2
  • Add colour
  • Add system colours
  • Add faction colours
  • Add nice backgrounds.. trying to match ingame star system
Phase 3
  • Make a ZOI map for every computer based player faction (i.e. Blood Dragons, House Police, etc)
  • Make a ZOI map for every player faction (i.e. [M], .:J:., etc]
Phase 4 - ?
  • Input Tradelane systems.
  • Export as zoomable Pdf or Swf.

there is a picture in your discovery folder with all the system... you can start there

EDIT: uhh... and you wrote "Omega Gamma"... corsairs are going to eat you:)

EDIT2: It's "Omicron Gamma" and "Omicron Theta"

also even easier way to find systems and names is to use *cough* FL Datastorm. Google it .

EDIT3: That one is then newest one you should have in your folder.... but it has no names...so use Datastorm for them.

Is omega Gamma a mistake?

Please people...dont post "You wrote Duck."
This first map is based of the Vanilla Freelancer.
I need help to complete this.
If I make a mistake tell me where and what it is.
I.e "You wrote Duck." becomes "You wrote Duck. It should be Goose and goes at the bottom."

You wrote Omega Gamma. It should be Omicron Gamma and the mistake is located in the bottom left.:P

I'll help. Make the map, I'll edit. Just like the wiki.:)

Thanks heaps. I knew that was in there somewhere...that QCRF actually got me started down this track. <strike>Everyone happy if I use that format?</strike> Nevermind. I didnt realise he was still here. I'm not going to steal or plagarise someone elses work.
