Image Challenge 200M Credit Prize! - Unseelie - 12-17-2012

Dear folk.

Unseelie wants a signature...or image. Or whatever.

The idea is that, first of all, I've this arpee.

Wherin I've a ship, call it the Underbridge. Mostly, its just a very large family living on a ship, etc. doesn't matter.

But here's the thing. Kids get raised aboard this ship, and they land on stations, and everyone goes berzerk, la la la. They run around, but when they go off ships, they all wear gps/tracking/com badges a la star treck's badges.

But these bagdges are also like really brillant embroidered achievement badges.

The most basic thing is just a bridge, everyone gets it. Symbol of the ship, of home, of the family, etc. After that, well, I dunno what the rest of the achievements they might get are, so i don't know.

But I'd like a fairly large image of the bridge-badge.

I'd say it is a dead end.

Its a signature request, so it has to fit into the space requirements for that..

Because I was hoping of a depiction of an actual bridge, rather than a pass to the ships bridge

Bridge as in, a thing people walk over

Preferably with something shadowy crouched onto it.

I'll toss you 30m for what you did, though.

200m to anyone who gives me what I love and love and love.

As far as i understand, u want a dark/gothic style sig with a bridge. Do i need to include kids in it ? please tell me a little more about what u want, i will try to deliver.

if u want happy bridge+ kids, tell me more plz.

Anyway, I gave it a shot for fun. Your directions were pretty vague, so I steered it more towards what I enjoy, which quite probably is far more minimalistic than what you're looking for. ("Embroidered" this isn't.) That's totally fine and fair; just lemme know and I'll graciously slink away. (Suggestions are cool too, but there's always that line to be drawn between "ameliorable" and "just too far off the mark".)

Or, alternatively:

... where dark icons show "achievements" yet to be earned.

(The colour's just what came to mind for an "under bridge"--something damp, dark, and very fen.)

Edit: A bit of shading doesn't hurt the design too much.

Edit 2: Bit less plain, last edit for now. Mind at midnight isn't so great after all.

Lux seems to have the general idea going.

However, the object is a cloth patch. It gets ironed onto coveralls...(or a shirt, or whatever) so it has to be about the scale of a person's shoulder.

Such that tiny tiny little achievement things might be too tiny. Anyway, I expect those to be pins/other patches that get added later on.

The point isn't that its embroidered, but rather that it has to get pasted on to much of these people's clothes, and it has to hide a bit of computer hardware, so it has to have some depth.

I'd ask for not photo realism, a bit of feeling of depth, and a bridge.
The bridges I've imagined span from suspension bridges to little arches, so its a wide seletion.

No kids, please. A shadow of something under the bridge would be a great touch.
