Comparing to what I've seen, all those cats are geniuses. Namely, I had put some food behind a pillar and a cat quickly showed up. However, it was on the opposite side of the pillar. It knew where the food was, but it kept blindly walking into the pillar, instead of simply bypassing it. It managed to find its food at the end, fortunately.
Oh, and the cat wasn't blind. It had perfect vision, but clearly not a perfect mind.
