Using an xbox controller - Scumbag - 01-29-2013
I think i have seen another thread about this on the forum but it was old. Has anyone else tried to configure it for this game, i have been struggling for about 2 hours but i can't get the mouse sensitivity right.
I'm using trial software, i don't know if i should post the name here, it might be considered publicity.

Keep in mind this game pre-dates the XBox.

Not really, no.....
FL had its worldwide release in 2004-5.
xbox was released in 2001-2

Try Xpadder works really nice have no problems with configuration

Can you please share your configuration? Just for reference, i want to better customize mine. I use something similar to what josh posted on discovery flux forum, but with a different fire button and x and y are mapped for different weapon groups.

Because every game is better with a controller in my opinion, i still use the keyboard and mouse but when in combat the ergonomy of a controller should deliver a better gaming experience. The only problem i have is with accuracy, nothing can point like a mouse

I used xpadder, but I couldn't get the controller to actually do anything ingame

There was a guy who flew mostly 'sairs that flew with an Xbox controller. He was actually pretty good, flew weird compared to most people though.
