Hi Everyone,
Its surprised me to find such an active Freelancer community. After 5 years its a testament to the quality of the Freelancer game and what can be done with a great mod.
I have a problem with the server though:(I'm in Australia and when I try to connect to to the 24/7 RP server (82.113.48.5) it times out. It also times out when I start FL without the server directive and get the server details from the Global Server (the new one! ;)). Accessing the "Who's Online" page (http://82.113.48.5/online.html) results in a time-out. When I try to ping 82.113.48.5, I get a "Destination Unreachable" response. (Yes, firewall is off. Everything else has been checked and rechecked.)
Not quite sure whats the matter.:(Any one has any suggestions?

On another note, the server issue might have occured during a downtime, just try it again later. In case it still doesn't work, there's the Help Requests forum.

Look up this site in order to see whether the server is there or not. Note that the site has a lag of up to three minutes though.

I get a timeout from that link.:(
