Snow day? - ryoken - 02-08-2013

Ok here in Toronto Canada i have shoveled the driveway at 6PM last night, then again at 9PM, and now i just went and shoveled another 4 feet of snow at 6AM. All the schools cancelled bus service, but not school. Got to love the way Governments think eh?
Anyone else getting dumped on? Or having a "snow day"

RE: Snow day? - sindroms - 02-08-2013

I have been having a snow day ever since late november. At an average of 20-40 cm of snow per day.

It snowed so much here that the roads disappeared.

We had a week of non-stop snow a few weeks ago, traffic nightmare.

Unfortunatly it seems not -all- the snow in that large storm currently over the USA and Canada is going to fall in that area and about half of it is heading our way! Great, I always love not being able to get to where I need to go and resceduleing everything. -.-

Sun is shining, the weather is sweet

Want you to know, y'all, where i stand

I'm in the office. No possible way to know the weather outside.
Sometimes I get surprised when I leave it at the end of the day q.q
Hopefully no snow this time.

For the record, I'm looking forward to those days! Maybe one or two days of light snow all winter, instead of getting dumped on many times with multiple inches ...

I still remember 1978. We were out of school for two weeks in my county, and the drifts were taller than semi-trailers.
