It was dawn on Christmas Eve, and my parents felt it nessicary to go out on a trading run. While it served good pourpose, because my grandparents lived on Leeds, it still didn't change the fact that I didn't want to leave the East cost of Planet LA. I was only 15, but I still loved going to the beach and sunbathing, watching all the older men drool over my bodacious body. Made me feel more important I guess. I sighed. I have low self-esteem I said thinking to myself. Any girl that had to show off her body to get the attention of older men had no personality. But mine just grabbed their attention.
"Sarah McCollihan!" My father yelled from the pilots seat.
"What dad?!" I screamed back.
"You watch your tone young lady, just because it's almost Christmas doesn't give you any right to talk back to me. Take the weapon station, we have Rheinland bombers on an intercept course."
I blinked in disbelief. In Magellan? This must be a joke. I thought to my self, but took the seat anyway, at the scanner console, my mother sat in silence configuring the scanners to verify they were Rheinland, and indeed they were.
"Trader Vessel, stand down shields and prepare to be scanned. Comply and we will not destroy your vessel." the lead bomber said.
"Rheinland bomber, you are in neutral space, far from your homelands. You have no hold here." my father replied.
The lead bomber fired two torpedos at our ship, dropping our shields in one fail swoop. My father cursed and turned off the shields.
"You have 1000 tons of Supercarbons, drop them immediately." said the second bomber charging it's weapons.
"Blow it out your ass." my father said and charged the shields back, the bomber opened fire just as my father ran to the Leeds Jumphole, close to the Hacker base. "I would much rather pay a tax to the Hackers than have these buggers on my tail. Sarah, drop countermeasures."
I did as I was told and before long the jumphole appeared on the screen. However, space distorted near the hole and a massive Rheinland Battleship appeared, blocking the Jumphole.
"What in the nine hells?!" my father exclaimed as more ships came out of no where. My father expertly flew the large Transport inbetween the docking ports along the bottom of the huge ship and flew through the Jumphole into Leeds. "Did you see that Mary?" my father exclaimed at my mother.
"I did." My mother said for the first time in a few hours. "Seemed like they jumped in out of no where. But the sensor readings are a different story. No kind of subspace distortions...they just...appeared."
My mother was a scientist by trade, and my father was a trader by...his trade. The two met when my father was dropping off supplies for a recovery effort and met my mother there. He always said that everywhere she went in that desolated environment, the sky lit a-fire and the people around her brightened.
"I'm picking up another ship Bruce. It's huge..." my mother said.
"Rheinland?" my father replied.
"No...it's something else..."
The ship appeared in front of us and fired five quick shots at the ship, by the fourth shot, my console exploded, and I fell into darkness.

I woke up to the taste of something sticky and tasted like metal. I figured it was blood but I didn't pay any attention to the feeling of it, the pain in my abdomen was enough to make me want to vomit. I didn't hear any sound at first, I thought I was blind and deaf, but soon my senses came back to me one by one.
Touch. I felt the floor, cold as ice and smooth as metal. I deduced it was a ships floor, not my parents transport, the entire thing was carpeted in the cockpit and quarters.
Smell. The room smelt like metal and equipment. Kind of like a hospital but cleaner. I smelt something burning, but paid no attention to it.
Taste. The taste of iron and stickness came back even stronger and make me almost puke again.
Sight: I opened my eyes to see nothing but grey, the rooms floor more likely.
That's when the worse sense of all came back at once. Sound. I heard screams, a woman and man both.
"These are incompatable." said a man. "Dispose of their bodies." I heard someone get hit with a fist, or hand, and someone curse. "You said there was someone compatable on that god's damned ship Autumn. Are you lying to me?"
"Never General. I did detect someone on board that transport. We still have that girl that we took off too. She was out like a light from a console explosion, but we managed to get her back to the cell next door."
"No!" I heard my mother scream. "Leave Sarah alone!"
"SILENCE WENCH." said the man and I heard a gunshot. I flinched at the sound and began to look around the room for a way out, but found my body immobile. I cursed my own luck. All the times my mother told me to exercise incase I was captured by someone on a trading mission, and I never listened, I was paying for it now. The cell door opened and I stopped moving, closing my eyes.
"Get up little bitch." said the big man and kicked me hard in the stomach. I vomited up my last meal on the floor and coughed and sputtered. He pulled me to my feet with his powerful arms and sat me down standing up. I looked up and saw his face for the first time, the man who murdered my mother, or so I thought at the time. "You're a scrawny one. But you're our last hope, take her to the room."
I was drug out of the room by my hair. I fell to the ground screaming and kicking, before long we entered a circular room with strange beds that laid at an incline against the wall. I saw my father, his eye's torn from his sockets and the nerves hanging out of them, his jaw was ripped off, along with some of his teeth, his tongue hung lazily out of his mouth. I gagged and vomited on myself again at the sight and saw my mother crying, holding her arm with a bullet hole in it.
"Tie her down and make sure the little bitch doesn't get lose, her mother was enough of a struggle, the daughter is more than likely the same. I had my way with her mother, but I don't see having my way with a 15 year old any fun. At least her mother put up a fight. Activate the sequence. I want to see if she's compatable."
A huge laser came down pointed at the bridge of my nose and activated. I screamed at first, the laser tearing into my nose and into my brain, but then everything went black, and I returned to the darkness.

"Good news good General, her blood is compatable, shall I start the wipe?" The woman named Autumn said.
"Do it. Make sure she is ready to go by midnight tonight, she will meet her new troops in the evening." I heard the 'General' say. "She's a pretty one isn't she? Normally we get the ugly ones who are compatable...at least I might be able to have my way with her later on...when she's willing...start the sequence and implant the memories, I'll be on the bridge."
The feeling was indescribable, it felt like everything I had ever known was dissappearing. The encounter on the ship...the...what? My first childhood crush. Kenny...Ken...
Several Hours Later
My eyes opened and I sat up.
"How did it go?" I said to Autumn.
"It went well, your resequence is completed, your implants and memories are back in the right places. Such a trifle that is to fix you know." she replied.
"Sorry Autumn. Seems my training exercises get a little crazy sometimes. Is the General ready to see me now?" I asked.
"No, you are to report to your troops. They are ready for your briefing."
I nodded to Autumn and saluted her. She returned the salute and I started walking down the hallways to the troops quarters as I had so many times before. The training missions were getting more and more challanging the troops were indeed perfecting their techniques and I was impressed with their progress. But they still needed improving...
"Chas..."
"Who's there?" I said whirling around to look down the hallway but ignored it and kept walking.

"Fools." the computer system said to itself. "They're over looking everything...in time...all will come to fruitition."

Three Years Later
"-and our numbers have increased ten fold." I said finishing my speach. The new commander, Leo, sat across from me. He rarely ever smiled, and had a disturbing cold about him. They said he was experemental and was the strongest out of all of us, which only irritated Takashi to my right. Leo and Takashi never liked each other. Ever. More than countless times Takashi challanged him in the past days and each time Leo struck him down so severely that Takashi had to be taken to get resequenced. Leo never smiled, never even laughed at Takashi's attempts, he simply put him down and into the ground and walked away.
"Very good Sarah." said the General with a snide smile. "Soon all of Sirius will be in our grasp, just as it should be. Leo, your turn to report your stats."
Leo rose and almost glided over to the podium, he stood there facing all of us, his eye illuminated blue as they always were. He looked around the room for a second and stopped on mine, digging into my soul and resolve, I cleared my throat and I could have sworn I saw a hint of a smile on his lips, but not one of laughter...one of desire.
"Black Company has captured another foolish ship stupid enough to cross in our ships path. The resistance was killed easily and all uncompatable members had their hearts and brains ripped from their bodies and taken to the research labs. The women were taken to the fertilization chambers and had their reproductive organs removed, and they too had their hearts and brains ripped from their weak bodies and those too taken to the research labs." Leo said smiling all the while. "Black Company has a 130% increase in research and fertilization research for our future studies on the Nomad DNA reproduction along with human DNA. We are moving along nicely."
Leo turned, his smile fading almost immediately and glided back to his seat where he sat down and stared at Sarah for a moment longer, and back to the head of the table where the General said.
"You're one sadastic son of a bitch Leo." he said with a smile.
"I take that as high praise, General." Leo said with out the slightest hint of emotion or gratitude.
"That is all commanders, we will discuss more next month. You are dismissed."

I rose from my chair and began putting my files away when Leo glided up next to me, I hardly noticed him until I saw him standing right next to me, watching everything I did.
Anything I can help you with Leo? I asked with a snarl.
You can do me the favor of shutting up and letting me do my job. He replied with a glare. His eyes were as cold as ice, as was his voice.
What are you talking about? Are you jealous of my report? And here I thought you had almost no emotion unless it meant killing someone or something.
I dont mean your report you stupid bitch. He said. His words were cold to the bone, and the way he said it almost sent a chill up my spine. I mean letting me take care of the job that youre doing now. Youre crossing into my territory, and if you get any closer to taking my job, Ill snap your neck like a twig.
I stared back at him and he returned the favor. Our eyes locked for several minutes and we simply stared at one another. His amber and blue eyes stared into my blue eyes. Tearing away my defenses one by one.
If youre going to take me Leo. Take me, and get it over with. If not, get the hell out of my way.
He took me alright, he came in aggressively and kissed me, his natural human instincts taking over his Nomad ones. I kissed him back, reaching out with my one good hand and slamming the door to my left shut with a loud bang. Leo slammed me up against the wall next to the door and held me in the air kissing me until I lost control and shoved him back. He stared at me with a sexual rage and I stared back at him in complete rapture.
"You know Leo..." I said looking at him. "...you've been being such an evil man these past few weeks."
Leo only smiled. I pressed my body up against his, his right eye twitched slightly and he smiled with such evil that my heart raced.
"What? Is that something you want me to stop doing?" he said.
"Never" I said with boldness. "You're the most devious and evil man that has ever existed, and I'm going to show you what I mean." I said, and brought my lips to his.
We fell over a chair and landed on the table. Several hours later I left the office. Leo was an aggressive man, and even though we were still worlds apart, I felt a strange connection to him. He was a twisted man. Evil beyond comprehension, however he still made my heart race and my blood boil with desire. I shuddered slightly as I thought of the encounter and my eyes lit up even more than usual.
Chase me!
I stopped and looked around. No one was around me.

My head felt like it was going to split open and I felt a surge of memories I had never remembered beforeThe ship, my father, my motherson of a bitchwhat had I been doing for the past three years?! I decided from that point that I would play the role until I found a way out.
Can you hear me Sarah? said a voice in my head.
Who are you? I whispered to myself as I walked around the corner away from traffic that may come down the hall.
Thats not important, what is important is that you steer clear of any memory wiping areas. If the notice you acting the slightest bit strange you will be wiped. Standby, someone is coming the voice said and Leo came jogging to a stop, looking around frantically. Its Leo, talk to him, his memories are back as planned.
As planned?
Leo. Pst. I said at him and beckoned him over. You too?
He only nodded and blushed a deep shade of red when he realized what had just happened between the two of us.
Yeah, about that. He said. His voice sounded different, almost human.
Whatever, we werent us then. Listen, we have to get out of here. I said looking around.
Thats a no brainer. He replied looking around as well. If I find Autumn, we can get out of here.
Autumn? The Generals pet? Are you mad?
Shes my wife. Leo said with a stare back at me. I must have had a totally blank expression because he rolled his eyes. Long story. Maybe another time.
Maybe. I replied staring at him with the same blank stare. Ok, you find your lover, and Ill find a way out of here.
He nodded and ran off while I planned an escape route that would get me the hell out of this maze of metal and lights.
A few minute later I Found a terminal and started looking for the escape route. A soldier walked by and stopped, approaching me.
Commander Sarah? he asked walking near me. I was wondering when the next- I stopped him short.
Cant you see Im busy welp? If you interrupt me Ill cut your balls off and feed them to the rabids.
He hurried off in the direction he was going and I continued looking for a way out. Bingo, there. Now to find Leo and get the hell off this station.
Theyre all Nomads I heard Autumn say.
Impossible. We planned it for three years, I would come out of the memory whatever and I would obtain Allecto in my mind, causing me to take over Tainted and kill the General. Leo replied with hostility in his voice. That was the plan, was it not?
You have to get wiped. We have to take you back.
No, youre one of them too, I wont- and Leo was silent. Damn it, there goes one of my ways out. Guess its time to choose another. But before I got the chance, there was a man standing in front of me. The General.
Hello Sarah, whats going on here?
Nothing sir, just reasearching possible routes of evacuation in case there was a serious attack and we had to escape.
The General looked at me for a long time and his face relaxed.
Good idea. Keep me posted. He said and walked away towards where Leo had gone. Leo was getting re-wiped, and I was still in the clear. I would stay in Tainted, on this ship, until by some miracle, Leo regained his memory, and we were able to-
An explosion and Leo and Takashi both went running across the bridge to the shuttle bay and into the bay itself. Several other Tainted soldiers were chasing them, but werent fast enough. I decided to play the part and chase after them. I grabbed a rifle and began the chase. Leo saw me running after them and I only winked as I started to fire at them. He returned fire and made it through the door just as it closed.
Son of a bitch! The General screamed. Sarah, get through that door and make sure they dont- but the General was cut short as a shuttle launched and jumped to hyperspace, the General roared even louder and struck the wall. Get them back damn it Sarah. Do it now.
Yes, sir. I said with sternness in my voice. Oh, I would get them back, but not in the way you wanted, you sick, twisted, f***.
