It controls a lot like Freelancer, and it is all action based (jump right into a fight) and it is free to play. You can pick it up on Steam.
It is pretty fun to play and heck it is free, I say check it out.

It's basically World of Tanks in space.
Combat has a definite Freelancer-feel to it
It's quite fun, although seeing this always makes me long even more for Freelancer 2.

Hey, lurking around Disco has it's merits.. Life doesn't allow me to partake in more demanding games, but some space-Quake is refreshing.. At least the first hour was.

This game is great. I've taken kind towards the Interceptors, even though the caps can pretty much 1-hit anything.
