I find it hard to believe one would name a country Niger and then name a country that shares it's border as Nigeria.

Yes, it makes things confusing when people from one place are called Nigeriens, and people from the other are called Nigerians.


Freaking Niger, taking the name before Nigeria did, Someone should hook up that Niger with some rope, so that they can pull all the signs with their name down, so they can rename.

EDIT: Oh hey Cannon... What? Nothing bad about this thread, just a nice discussion about the country of Niger.

Yeah, no. I do not know why you would make this thread.

I could understand if you were taking a joust at someone for being stupid or some other voluntary thing which has wronged you or goes against some sensibility you have. (Some other topic apart from the country Niger.)

But that there is just sheer racism, or something damn close to it.
