Situation: With the rise in Outcast activity after the Contari Lance appeared, the IMG and their allies, the Colonials, have started to pick up their intercept missions again in order to contain the OC threat in T37 instead of defending their soft targets in T23.
IMG Mission: Perform a system scan, patrol relevant routes in T37. In case of enemy presence, intercept and engage in T37.
- Primary Objective: Delay arrival of Outcast vessels in T23 to buy the soft targets time to get to safety.
- Secondary Objective: Take out as many Outcast vessels as possible to weaken the strength of the attack on T23.
Contari Lance Mission: Keep the IMG and their allies from establishing patrol patterns and a fighting presence in T37, as these efforts harm ressource influx into Alpha and reduce the success ratio of T23 raids.
- Primary Objective: Eliminate the IMG military presence in T37.
- Secondary Objective: Protect inbound traffic against IMG/CR intercept missions

When: Saturday, 17:30 GMT
Who: IMG|, CL} (and when necessary to even numbers: CR|)
Where: Tau 37 (we agree on a place when there)
What ships: snubs only
What for: relaxed, even fun pvp
Win condition: if everybody agrees afterwards that it was a good fight.
Special event rules:
- No base hugging: If you run to a base, dock.
- No running-regening-coming back: You dock/leave system, you are out.
- No dick moves. We do this for fun.

To be honest i would announce it at least 1 week priorly so everyone has had a chance to read it and can apply for it. I like the idea, but i think its a littlebit a tight schedule.

We discussed it and informed our members a while ago, we just didn't have the forum post. We don't really need signups (as the event's pretty casual), but our members already know about it.

Hm. Did not think about the other event.
But: np. It's just fighter pew in our event. Should not lag the server.
And: small pew events are funnier anyway.
I'll likely change the date for the next one.
If you are in both factions, you'll have to decide where to participate this one time. I guess, everybody will survive this blow!

I do not belong to any of highly mentioned factions, I have only OC indie, but it's a bomber and won't do for event like that.

I suppose most of you saw this event which was on for 2-3 weeks already

It seems like both our events are at the same time at the same day, a reason which lags the server.
So, would if be possible if the events are replanned? So we will avoid the lag of today.

Yep. Already stated that the event will switch date.
Sorry for not realizing it.
The NY raid killed the server, it was not our snubs, actually. But you are right: We will switch time slot.
Anyway: A nice start. Nice numbers. A... fast event, kind of...
But next time, we'll try to put up more of a fight. Jack
