Yes! The title says it all, RheinlandMilitary.com is now offering it's hosting to OFFICIAL factions of Discovery. Unlike those free services you find around the internet (or worse the paid ones), our hosting will only EVER charge Freelancer credits, we have no ads what so ever, no spamming emails, we give full admin privileges on forum scripts (including themes), maintenance, and setup as well! Currently we support;
- Forums (Default scripting is PHPBB3)
- Sub Domains and/or URL Masks
- FTP Access
- Theme and Forum setup

Q: Why charge so much for installation?
A: I am taking time out of my own summer to help supply Discovery factions with forums and hosting, 100 million credits isn't asking for very much.
Q: Why the monthly fee?
A: Virus' is currently paying for the hosting plan of RheinlandMilitary.com out of his American dollars to keep the RM site running along with anyone else on our hosting plan, again, 75 million credits isn't asking for very much for so many features.
Q: What is a PHPBB3 Portal?
A: An example of what the PHPBB3 portal looks like can be found on the RheinlandMilitary.com homepage.

Q: What do you mean by "Forum Category and Permission setups"?
A: For all of those who aren't very good with PHPBB3's admin panel, I'm willing to set up your forums and user permission sets for you for a price to make it look and work just as you want.
Q: Where can we find themes for PHPBB3 to chose from?
A: Simple, google "PHPBB3 Themes", I'm sure quite a few results will come up.
Q: What are sub domains?
A: Sub Domains are domains connected to the main RM website. We currently have two that we know of and can use. One is the official Rheinlandmilitary domain from our hosting plan. An example of what your domain may look like: "blacksquadron.rheinlandmilitary.com". And the second being a free service named "Co.Nr", that acts as the same as the Rheinland Military sub domain.
Q: What is a URL Redirect?
A: A URL redirect is a website address that will forward you to a second address. For example, blacksquadron.no-ip.org will forward to blacksquadron.rheinlandmilitary.com and work from there.
Q: What is a URL Mask?
A: A URL mask will cover up your websites URL entirely, including whatever page you may be on within the forums. The flaw to using URL Masks however is that you won't be able to make links to specific topics on your forums.
Q: Who is supplying the extra URL Redirects and Masks?

Q: Can I see an example of Rheinland Military's sub domain?

Q: Why do you charge extra for unsupported forum setups?
A: I currently have only ever tested PHPBB3 forums, any other forums I'd have to take extra free time to learn how they work and how to install them. So charging a little extra for them isn't anything to be to worried about.
Q: What are the restrictions to FTP Access?
A:
- Files uploaded on to the FTP Server are RESTRICTED to website based files only.
- Any trace of EXE, ZIP, RAR, or any other file type not related to website hosting (Freelancer account IDs are allowed however). If said files are found, they will be deleted and the customer warned.
- No files bigger then 10mbs
- Any illegal and/or adult content on our servers will result in a complete deletion of said clients website with no refunds or backups given.
Q: Why should I get FTP Access?
A: FTP access are for users to want to have more on their website then just their own forums. If you have a custom website you'd wish to have uploaded, FTP access is the way to do it.
Q: What scripts are supported on the RheinlandMilitary.com hosting?

- All normal and basic website scripting

- Perl
A: All fees are to be paid first in game before the website is set up. All bills are to be paid at Planet New Berlin on to the Rheinland Military Armory.
Q: Why is the Rheinland Military offering these services to Discovery?
A: As an official faction of Discovery, and of course community members as well, we feel it would be great to help out the community in our own little way.
