To Whom This May Concern,
Freeport 4 has reported an unusual increase in Liberty Navy activity in the Magellan system over the past few days. While I understand that the Guild cannot be privvy to Liberty's military plans and operations, I do wonder if there is a threat within the system that we do not know about, something that would require extra security measures to be taken at the Freeport. In short, we request, but not demand, an explanation for the increase in Liberty Navy activity within Magellan.

Mr. Sanders, I understand your concern regarding Naval activity near one of your stations, however I would like to assure you that, to my knowledge, you not in any severe danger as yet.
I would caution you however, to be wary of Gallic agents, or any vessel of Gallic origin attempting to move through your Freeport.
To make a long story short, the increased frequency of Naval operations in the Magellan system is in response to intelligence reports that confirm increased movements of Gallic agents, or scouting parties, within that system.
The Navy is merely posturing to defend our Republic from any Gallic agents or influences that may attempt to cross into our borders.
If you would like further information, or clarification, Secretary of Defense McKay will likely have those answers for you. In the meantime however, if you wish to coordinate security efforts with the Liberty Navy, we will be glad to assist.
