Photoshop CS6 question - Makc_RU - 05-26-2013 Hello. Recently my computer started to ding (the sound of connecting USB device into USB port - ding). It sounds like something is found/authorizing. I never had this problem before. I am on Win XP sp3. Can anyone advise me on this issue please? RE: Photoshop CS6 question - indy.miner1 - 05-27-2013 loose connection on a usb? you could try going into device manager, uninstalling your usb ports then rebooting and let windows re-find them and install automatically RE: Photoshop CS6 question - Makc_RU - 05-27-2013 ty, will try that. If you have external devices connected to your USB ports (like external HDs, external sound cards or wireless receivers), one of your ports may be seeing them as connected / disconnected. Usually, this happens when a PSU is going bye bye or the USB port is going bye bye, unless it is a software issue. Software part can be handled as suggested above. Hardware part: Soon you may start to see symptoms like whenever you plug a usb stick, the computer restarts. Then you may have a better diagnostic option. |
