Freelance Workers Coalition Feedback Thread - Alan Martins - 05-29-2013 Please post personal opinions of this faction here: And learn more about the faction here: http://discoverygc.com/wiki/Freelance_Worker_Coalition RE: Freelance Workers Coalition Feedback Thread - Lanakov - 05-29-2013 Care for a link to the faction sheet ? RE: Freelance Workers Coalition Feedback Thread - Alan Martins - 05-29-2013 here you go: http://discoverygc.com/wiki/Freelance_Worker_Coalition RE: Freelance Workers Coalition Feedback Thread - Anaximander - 05-29-2013 I like Freelancer Trader associations, but there are some obvious contradictions - you want to force the corporations off the market through harassment, but aren't you at the same time planning to use those corporation's bases and commodities for trade? Besides even though Ageira and so on aren't represented by many players in-game, they are supposed to be huge corporations no Freelancer Trader group will be anywhere near taking a stab at. I think you would be better off either being fully "shady" and neutral to pirate factions as well as corporations, or fully law-abiding - if I were you, I'd keep it simple to begin with. Just be a group of independence-loving traders, find some good/interesting trade routes with interesting people and groups to RP with, and take it from there. Security and underworld dealings is something you can add later on. This is taking things in a different direction, but you could also make a USI ID'd faction focused on freedom and independence and have Xenos as your main clients; you'd of course have to be sneaky about it but it could give you some fun "grey area" trader-RP. Black Market Munitions from Rousillon to Milford is super profitable, and you get to RP with two fun groups ([C] and XA) along the way. If you take this advice, let me give you an other one: Roussillon is restricted, getting in there without prior permission can lead to repercussions. Studying the Council Law charter, especially the Roussillon Codex can help a lot.

Unofficial Faction feedback is usually in the same thread as faction information, in the Other Factions subforum. Secondly, the faction concept is extremely vague and not particularly appealing to join either. "We are Freelancers and we trade stuff" is not very original. Lastly, your Wiki page is quite a mess. You should find someone familiar with Wiki formatting to clean it up for you. All the information linked in the branching articles could be merged into one page. Also: http://discoverygc.com/wiki/Disgruntled_Ageira_Employees A wiki page for a single sentence? Absolutely redundant. I've left a message for one of the Wiki managers to delete the page. |
