You are quite right in that assumption, the Armed Forces could still make claim to one Dreadnaught of the Liberty Navy.
But we didn't wanto weaken the strength of the Navy by just taking a newly finished ship or one that is in active service.
We've been holding our hand up to now to see if any secondary Ships were available.
So I'm all ears to the offer you have to make Captain Winchester.

Admiral Havering,
I am glad to see you still have interest in our own dreadnoughts. And your concern at taking vital ships for our own war effort is thankful, but the 41st Naval Task Force would like to offer you one. After speaking with Admiral Wolf of the Task Force, we feel that, due to problems within the task force that i shall not bore you with, our own dreadnought class ship cannot be fully maintained by ourselves anymore. After careful evaluation of the circumstances of our home, and yours, we feel your war is more deserving of this state of the art piece of technology. Many of the crew that remains, watching over the ship, keeping her running will move with it, but some positions you would have to fill with your own officers sir, i hope this would not be too much of a problem. If you feel happy with this offer, i will begin the plans to get her moving down to Southampton Shipyard, to fix Identification Friend or Foe displays, and fit a set of Bretonian Weaponry. I eagerly await your reply, and hope the "Battleship Iowa" will serve under you well sir.

It won't be a problem to fill a few positions with our own men.
It's going to fly under the Bretonian Flag so it should at least have a few Bretonian helmsmen in there.*chuckles*
Give us a date when the ship is ready to move, so that we can escort it down to New London.
Once the ship arrives at Southampton everything should be ready so that we can immediately start with the reconfiguration of the Identifications and weapons systems.
