I think we are going to see more of these as we get closer to launch of the new mod. Everyone wants to be first because the first people to form a faction of a certain type have alot of power.

That's quite enough flamethrowing for one thread.
Speaking for myself, I will not give so much as half of a first thought about any Gallia related faction proposals until the mod version that includes them is actually released, and that is going to be at least several weeks from now (over a month).
Anyone who thinks they can "call dibs" on something that isn't even on the server yet, should think again.
Until it is released, any Gallia related discussion is pure fantasy and in my mind is no different than trying to bring Star Trek into Disco. As I see it, that applies to the server as well as faction proposals.
