Hey guys, im thinking on creating a nomad character, many people say it sucks because you only have 1 base, btw how do se make money has a nomad? Also are there any active Nomad factions? :o
(Still haven't decides if i should Creste 1 or not.)
K'Hara are active but I strongly advise you read everything on their threads first. Nomad RP is a lot different to your average speech. 57 pages of lore as well if you fancy reading that.
You don't make money as a nomad, you make your money through trading/pirating/however else and then transfer to your ship.
Nomads get another one in delta, and they do have one in Chester, and Wilde systems. However, the plain ones can't exist the omicrons so you'll have to apply for a khara ID
As a member of the K'Hara i must inform you that as nomad you don't make money. Its rather impossible, for moneymaking i suggest you join a trading faction instead.
The nomads can be very fun to RP. But it makes the game more pvp based with an RP veil over it. As usually when for example order or bhg core comes.. (more other ones as a k'hara, but in the omicrons this will be mainly your enemies) its PEW. not that its bad, because space is just dangerous.
About the nomad language.. Well I guess we all had to learn. I remember some of my first attempts wich where not that great neither, but after some attempts it went pretty fast. So even if you seem bad by others, you will progress. One who shall not even attempt to succeed shall fail forever.
