hey every buddy look as my back story is i'm mainly an outcast but again as in as for back story the only people i'm really after are the xeno's for killing my family i am friends with many groups as like liberty roges and junkers lane hackers and outcast and and only pirate as a means of funding my hunt of the xeno's
so do i really have to say i'm only with one faction can't i just be unlawfull for the most part ?
some one please get back to me on the becuase i'm confused i should beable to put together a ship from parts for all groups who like me not just say roge or outcast ?
or should i change from a pirate id to a merc id but then i can't really pirate all the time with a merc id

Hmm.... if your character floats throughout a myriad of unlawful factions within one group (the Outcast alliance, in your case) a Pirate ID is probably the best. As for a tag, there is no specific "unlawful" tag, and shouldn't be, but if you work on the Outcast side of things an Outcast tag would fit best. Mercenary ID is a bit touchier, and usually comes down to "unlawful bounty hunter in smaller ships"- not what your character background looks like.
The Xenos didn't kill your family, the system that propagates the Xenos killed your family.

The nice thing about having a bone to pick with the Xenos is that pretty much any and everybody is free to do so. In my day I've been attacked by every faction in the game with the exception of the Bretonian lawfuls and the Order.
Yes, the list of people who've attacked me -does- include head scratchers like Blood Dragons, Gaians, Hessians, Alliance folk, IMG, KNF etc etc.
It's really kinda amazing.
But to answer your original question, ah. If we nixed your family, Rogue is nice and local. Be a bit of a trick for a buncha Xenos to have vaped your kin unless they were hauling a spot of cardi and fell into our web!

well as for the xenos and my family my dads brother left and become a smuggler i beleave what he cared i don't know and weather he marked his ship with the family crest and weather or not it was all just a mistake in identity i don't know but the fact remain i saw the xenos destroy my familys ship

I have to object, the Xeno's attacked an alliance ship, not the other way around.:P

You forgot the Hogosha! Myself and an LPI guy fought a Hogosha cruiser in Colorado a while back...
