When I tried to download a movie from a torrent, it worked BUT the movie doesn't play well (as in, it freezes towards the end). When asking the uTorrent to do a re-check, I get the "Cycle Redundancy Check error".
Not knowing about that error, I tried to download something else. An archived game, this time. The download goes well BUT, when I try to extract the archive, WinRAR gives me an error: Cycle Redundancy Check... yeah.
At this point I'm thinking that my HDD is going to die and to test this theory, I re-download the movie on an external HDD and what do you know, it works perfectly.
Now I'm saving my important data from my HDD. My HDD is still in the warranty period so I could just take it to service but what if it's not the HDD? Could any other component cause this problem? Any advice?
