Strange I saw G.Junker camping S13 JH in N.Berlin. He killed the trader and then he sold ore on N.Berlin..

There may be other reasons contributing to the hostility factor as well, but that is, by and large, the main reason.
The Rhailand is in war whit Liberty. Rheinland can go to Bretonia-Liberty's closest ally.

And why the hacker, will get lost? This faction is supposed to know routes, ways, lanes, etc.
Sanctions are ooRP part of game.
You're frequently seeing local police ingame? I am not.
So here's another situation: I'll take my favourite Red Hessian cruiser and will take it to Liberty. Suddenly "I'm lost and need money for food", I demand 10 millions from your trader because my crew is large and all of it needs to eat.
You will call to lone LPI fighter to come and deal with me?
Surely not, you will call to admins, so they will delete my shiny cau8.
Well space is unpredictible..U could be lost becouse of some Ion storm or some JH is not working as it should. So it is possible to run out of food..Remember the Star trek Voyager...lost..in strange space
But don't worry I would not report you to admin. As I said before I would contact the local police or navy becouse you are in Cap. ship.
As Tom Hanks said: U never know what you gonna get in box of chocolate.
We could say; U never know what will surprise us in space.

Didn't you wrote; Space is dangerouse?
Guess I'm a bit trapped by my own words, but npnp.
Quite simple situation: you abuse something, you lose. This comes even for ID-wise actions, like bretprivateer cargopirating IMG convoys at Harris. And surely, it comes for piracy outside of your ZoI.
Current piracy is quite simple: you can use pirate ID and pirate everywhere with bad tech and local unlawfuls don't welcoming you too. Or you can use faction ID with powerful ship/gunlines and limited zoi. That's why, OC and Corsair IDs are best for piracy.
Edited: suddenly, an excellent idea comed to my head. Is it possible to adjust powercore when ship goes out of it's ZoI?
RP explanation: you're out of your bases, your ship needs repairs and supplies you can't find here.
For example 50% when you go one system away and 10% any further.
So corsair dread will have 50% powercore in New Berlin and only 10% in Bering

We finaly agree here.
I just wish to sell something legal out of my Zoi...I don't wish to pirat out of my Zoi.
Let's make this more simple for you... I wish to pirat in my Zoi...and then go out of my Zoi and sell what I just pirated (that is now my cargo and it is legal cargo) in some zone where they don't know me becouse I'm out of my Zoi.
So here we come to ID's. They should be guide line for us and not the strict rule what we can or can't do... ID's should not just label us.

actually possible. the power core checks for equipt compatibility. it can also check for system compatibility - it has to know where your ship is in order for it to receive damage.
however, this would lead to a big problem. how do you code for the multiple-zoi factions? junkers are in every house except K, zoners are, well, zonerzonerzoner, freelancers are freelancers, and are not tied to any one house.
furthermore, what would be the point of a home-team advantage? this would effectively end wars - as there is no point going on a raid as your bombers can't take down the shields fast enough, cos their powercore is 10%.
im not saying i hate the idea, im saying that it has unintended consequences. for example, an invading force brings fuel, food, ammo, spare socks etc with them on their journey as part of their logistics. however, this explanation came to mind:
your ship's power core is built in the X part of sirius, and is shielded against X frequency cosmic radiation. as you travel further and further into the Z frequencies that you are not shielded against, then you have a corresponding reduction in powercore output.

Well, no nerf for factions without ZoI like zonerzonerzoner, freelancer, pirate, etc.(perhaps for trading factions too. They need to act in self-defence out of their zoi)
Quote:furthermore, what would be the point of a home-team advantage? this would effectively end wars - as there is no point going on a raid as your bombers can't take down the shields fast enough, cos their powercore is 10%.
Ofc, military factions will have their powercore working in theri enemy house(maybe not in whole)
So GRN can shoot BAF in New London at full power, but with huge nerf in Omega-3
The biggest advantage is that solution will remove ZoIs from infocards. And from rules. So less sanctionlancer, more game.

There's nice rule:
Quote:6.9 You must follow the restrictions/allowances of your ID, as well as the diplomacy of the NPC faction it represents. If your ID does not represent an NPC faction (generic IDs), then your reputation and conduct must match the actions of your character. You must not dock at bases that your NPC faction is hostile to, or attack allies of your NPC faction.
So if corsair transports are not going to liberty with their cargo, it's not advised for you to do so. But you can try to sell something in Kusari, afaik, corsairs have not that bad relationships there.

Pretty sure Kusari treats 'sairs as hostile. Aren't there Corsair raiding parties in Kyushu or whatever that system is that connects to Sig 13?
Anyway, this is a very silly thread. In this game, everyone's ship has an IFF that can be scanned by any other pilot in scanner range.
Otherwise your average faction war would go something like this:
Oi chap this is a mili'try operashun, who're you and wots yer business 'ere?
Chap? Ye daft? I'm with the bloody breton'n mili'try, same as you!
Oh ye? Sez who, y'bloody wanker?
Wankah? OI, RUPERT! G'OVAH HEAH.
G'day gov'nah.
Rupert, tell this git we're on the same bloody side!
Wait wot mate? Who's this bloke?
Oh for the love of.. HEY FROGS, GIVE US A MINUTE, YEAH? CHEERS!
Samura -- a very major lawful corporation -- likes the Farmer's Alliance. The Farmer's Alliance is allied with the Corsairs. The Corsairs are unlawful pretty much wherever you go.
