[Suggestion] 4.86 Hathor

@ 4.86 the Hathor was my Favorite Gunboat, because the Design was Epic.

Now with 4.87 beta the Ship removed, how it Sounds bringing it back with 4.87 as 2nd Civililan Gunboat, 2nd Order Gunboat, Pirate Gunboat or for any other Faction without Gunboat @ the Moment?

That design was more fitting a Das Wilde... and that gunboat was meant to be for The Order. It wont be coming back.

You make me sad. That model was epic. What was wrong with it?

No offense but I don't care for the new Conference... It's too flat, it looks ike someone took a good looking ship and squished it under their shoe. :p I even thought the 4.86 Conference looked better.. Why not use the 4.86 Hathor model instead?

I was also a little torn when it went back to the 4.85 Hathor. I hadn't played on 4.85 so did not see it coming and didnt know what happened at first. But this model has grown on me and I do like it now. It does have a bit more of a look of a ship with a military purpose. BUT bringing back the other model to be used for another faction, especially a civi would be cool, but then they'd be everywhere. The new conference is too light a gb but i suppose for inrp zoner purposes if it was just an escort vessle or cruiser support vessle it makes sense. Not meant as a personal freighter. I think this is why they brought the Condor in. They are also sleek, flat, good armor, and similar to the other Zoner designs. I just wish it has as many turret emplacements as a Hathor.

In the end its not coming back cuz it'd be confusing as all hell at this point. Will the real Hathor please stand up??

Even if the Condor or Conference had 1 more turret mount for anything like a gb missile, razor or pulse cannon, it would be great. Having to sacrifice 1 our of the 6 you get kinda sucks. Especially in the Conference since is has way lighter armor, and could give it some balance.

The official order faction leadership asked for the gunboat model to be reverted to the darker colored one, so as Omicron said, it is not coming back. Not as an order ship at least, nothing is stopping it from being used as another gunboat.

Jinx, you explained in your PM why it isn't being used for the Order. But why not use it for the Conference? It's so much cooler than the Conference we have now >_>
