So, they're trying to raise $500,000 to create a game and then charge a subscription once complete? They also going to be charging for updates? Seriously, EVE costs a lot but at least you can download what you need for it without having to pay anything.
Looking at the varying styles of game-play and the depth of immersion, this is going to take a lot longer than a year to complete. Otherwise, it's going to have more holes in it than a block of Swiss cheese. I'd suppose that it'll take them a year to have everything up and running properly and then it'll take at least another year to have an Alpha. These are crude assumptions, but if anybody is hoping to see this on the shelves by Christmas of next year then Santa will likely disappoint.
Terran Viking, Terran Turret actually shooting the ground, Ghost chick with lightsabres and nuke arrows, an almost stormtrooper-like helmet on that soldier, Zerg Lurker, and a lot of Zerglings... this game must be so good... But hey, I actually like the idea of RTS+FPS.
