No. It shouldn't be OORP. Kusari is friendly with TAZ Zoners, and an explorer isn't a Kusari BS, let alone a Kusari Destroyer, so I don't think the KNF would mind in-RP.

Clear it with LoTek and the rest of the community first, if you're unsure. But it should be okay, as long as you RP it properly.

It sounds fine, from my perspective. The Kusari explorer is the typical "explorer's" ship, and the Zoners are a good neutral faction to base your equipment on (if you plan to explore near unlawfuls/other houses that is).

Edit: that is, assuming your character is an explorer or something.

You could RP acquiring one from the GMG who have a sizable stock of these ships at hand. GMG are Zoner allies (as crazy as that may sound).
