MESSAGE TO: All other faction members on Discovery
COMM ID : Fellow Hoodlum ... Speaking on behalf of the [IND] aka Independants
We are a loosely affiliated group of traders. We have no chain of command or ranking. Current tag is Interspace Commerce, with a Trader ID. Epsilon fighters with Freelancer.
Other faction alignments, up to the individual, though neutrality with as many as possible
is good for business.
All pirates and terrorist organisations are to be considered hostile till bribes are in place,
with the exception of the Outcasts who shall remain neutral at all times.
Try to keep all the lawfuls sweet, and don't get caught smuggling.
The secretary then will disavow any knowledge of your actions.
All other ties at member's discretion. Money is, of course, our major objective.
The [CCU] Banking institute is currently in partnership with [IND], and as such is to be treated as a member
While not flying our colours, all curtesies afforded to us will be due to them also. Please feel free to use the
facilities at any time. Epsilons, you have your current orders concerning balliff duties.
Any updates, or the usual cock-ups, please PM me, and I will correct it.
That is all.
MESSAGE ENDS:
Membership criteria is varied and important. Roleplay is a key factor.
honestly - to me the faction is meaningless / unimportant. they are official - but serve no real purpose in terms of what they represent. - i don t really understand the faction alignment towards the outcasts ( about why is that so that they gotto keep good terms to them )
all in all, they are around, and thats all about the [IND] - that might sound negative, but its not. - its just.... it makes no difference if they are here or not. if all IND vanished over night, i wouldn t notice.
Faction does not stand for any noteable RP. While its players are all good in roleplaying their characters, faction itself plays no role in discovery universe. Im sorry.
The IND is a cool joint with a lot of cool folks, however in this day and age it's become more of a sort of archaic club than a definite faction with members and intent.
Between Hoodlum taking a powder and the lack of leadership/structure/goals, I'm not really sure why the IND rates officialdom anymore.
