It is with great sadness that I can confirm the fall of Max DeVirgo. A great man. A visionary, without whom we shall stumble as a blind man.

Until we learn to walk again.

His drive and foresight led us through our near annihilation at Omicron Minor. His name now resides in the annals of history.

We shall discover those who attacked our leader. Be they Zoners, Corsairs, Coalition or even some corporate entity gone feral, they shall be brought to account. We shall never allow such attacks to go unpunished. All those that stand against the Guild shall fall. We are the bastion that protects humanity, from the terrors that lurk in the deepest recesses of space, to the seeping evil that humanity itself creates.

Wherever these threats surface, we shall be there. We shall stop at nothing to ensure alien technology does not fall into the wrong hands, and where it does, we shall recover it.
