Last time I was here it was a great way to get an extra post count, because it was a daily occurrence anyway:
Dear Disco,
When I first joined this community I was 15 years old, hot-headed - and very enthusiastic for this game! I got sucked into the universe easily like many of you and over the course of my time here I've spent well over 4000 hours in the Sirius sector; I've had so many great experiences it would take me a whole day to remember them all! This mod has went from strength to strength (with plenty of drama in between of course ) and is very technically impressive at this point.
As of today, I'm 23 now. I remembered about the old birthday threads here so I thought I'd stop by to say that I'm still alive and that I still think about the Discovery community. It makes me really happy to see that it is still going strong. I will get around to installing the latest version and jumping in-game soon for sure!

People reached the moment in their lives, when they realize that aging might not be a thing you want to celebrate.

PSA: If you have been having stutter/FPS lag on Disco where it does not run as smoothly as other games, please look at the fix here: https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthrea...pid2306502

I'm going to confirm this little tidbit of wisdom. It's been many yrs since I had a celebration on my birthday. I'm inbetween milestones. When I'm ancient and wrinkled family members will suddenly want to reboot the birthday celebrations again. XD

Yup cracked 44 Jan 7. I was depressed so me and friends drank a whole lot of beer and Tequila shots I was blurry for a few days after that. A quote from my birthday card "we can outrun allot of things in life but time is always nipping at our heals". Yeah that made me feel real good
Oh dear.. I apologise for making you all miserable! Try not to think about it, I just wanted to say 'hello' first and foremost. Nice to see some familiar names are still around.

Ah it's all good the hang-over is gone and I moved on - barely after the moment and a bottle of Tylenol x strength and 1 ltr of OJ, 2 bagels toasted and a good hurle. LOL
