Description: Itabashi was originally constructed by Samura for use as the new headquarters for the Kusari State Police.
As the new government for the Republic of Kusari cut funding from the KSP to strengthen their military control over their new regime, the KSP were forced to sell off Itabashi to the Black Dragon Syndicate, the largest family of Hogosha in New Tokyo.

For some time the Hogosha used Itabashi as a defense station not only to protect New Tokyo but also to extort money from passing traders.
This changed as the economic climate in Kusari began to shift and the government began placing more pressure on the Hogosha owners.

In an effort to preserve the station as well as further their own goals, Samura purchased the station for use as both a trade hub within New Tokyo as well as an orbital habitat for the wealthy of New Tokyo that had became disenfranchised with life on the planet under the new Republic.
Samura has been undertaking a refit program lately to better accommodate the station to it’s new purpose and have begun opening the station up to it’s new clientele.
There are rumors that the station is used also as a temporary housing for those that wish to join up with the Emperors forces to the west and those that wish to move to Samura’s planetary holdings where they can enjoy Kusari culture how it used to be.
