###Subject ID: Picardy System Patrol Report###
###Location: Guise Mining Facility###
My patrol departed from the Anjou System at the Tours Station after doing all mandatory checks on my ship.
I firstly went all the way to Languedoc where I had reports of several pilots being stationed there for a long time.
However, no one was to be found at my arrival on site except several hordes of Bandits.
I then decided to go back all the way to Maine and it is when arriving there that I picked up weird signals on my neuronet.
Two citizens had apparently been spending a lot of time in Picardy without moving.
I decided to go check it out and ask these pilots what they were up to.
As Picardy system contains several mining fields and known Bandit bases I knew I would either face GMS miners or smugglers hidden in the fields.
At my arrival there, I met with Citizen Kasper, a GMS miner, up at the Guise Mining Facility.
His ship was in order with Gallic regulations and his behavior didn't seem odd in any way.
We were hit by a Bandit raid in the middle of the conversation and it took me about 10 minutes to get rid of the ships.
Citizen Kasper stayed hidden near the facility while I was protecting it and then he divulge some information worth noticing.
He reported that a certain citizen called Flameclaw, another GMS miner present in Picardy, was acting strange and could be working for the Bandits (see photo 2).
I therefore immediately planned a patrol around the De Crecy Asteroid Field in order to find citizen Flameclaw in order to check citizen Kasper's allegations (see picture 3).
After some time, I discovered citizen Flameclaw right in the middle of the De Crecy Asteroid Field, mining aluminum ore, and engaged conversation with him.
He was compliant to me checking his hold and equipment and was totally in order (see picture 5).
Nothing suspicious was to note about citizen Flameclaw.
Our discussion was cut short by another raid of Bandits who attacked us without warning.
The fight lasted 15 minutes in which citizen Flameclaw remained in the middle, trying to avoid missiles, mines and gun blasters.
During the fight, an unfortunate mine from my ship hit a nearby GMS convoy. It caused little damage but angered members of the convoy for a while.
After the area was secured, the discussion continued asking him about the allegations made against him.
Without saying the accuser's name, citizen Flameclaw knew that citizen Kasper was behind it (see picture 6) and explained that citizen Kasper is his ex brother in law and is wanted in 5 systems for running over members of his family, leaving them for dead.
Afterwards, I went straight to the Guise Mining Facility to write this report and check the Bounty Hunter Guild manifest about the bounty placed on citizen Kasper. The information was unfortunately not available. I may need to go to Languedoc to access the information or ask why it hasn't been uploaded on our systems yet.
I also payed for the damage caused to the GMS convoy (250 credits for a broken left mirror). The miners thanked me for the gesture. They also may have forgotten that they are still alive because of my intervention in the asteroid field.
To sum up:
Officers in the field should keep an eye for two citizens called Kasper and Flameclaw.
Kasper is apparently wanted (information non verified until now) and accused Flameclaw of working with the Bandits.
Flameclaw, his ex brother in law, accused him of a crime (information non verified until now).
Both could be working together to fool authorities.
Both of them had valid identifications and their ships were totally free of any type of contraband.
As well, both told me they haven't seen anything suspicious lately, apart from the Bandits.
Before I left for Burgundy I reminded them to contact me if anything came up.
My intentions to go to Burgundy were motivated by a strange signal that I picked up on my Nav Map. It kept disappearing and reappearing.
I thought it could be a smuggler or bandit jumping through jump holes and seemed to keep coming back to Burgundy.
When I got on site I decided to explore the Saint Remy Nebula where a known Bandit base is set: Macon Base.
My sensors efficiency was highly reduced due to the Nebula and I almost couldn't see anything.
I had to advance at slow speed in order to avoid hitting all the asteroids floating around my ship.
After a while I picked a weird signal I never picked before. The electronic wave signal is apparent to a jump gate but I was not aware of the presence of any jump gate in this area.
I decided to go further and find out what it was and finally found that it was a jump hole to another place of the universe I had never been before.
So there I was, in a nebula surrounded by Bandits, about to jump to a place i have never been.
I kept looking around hoping he would jump back but he didn't.
I followed him in Lyonnais as well but couldn't find him.
As other officers were not reachable due to the nebula I informed the closest Royal Navy ships .They will keep an eye open for him during their patrols as well.
To sum up:
All officers should keep an eye for the following Bandit:
- callsign: badtrip
- Last seen: Macon Base, Burgundy
- Known for: jumping from Burgundy to Lyonnais / Franche-Compte / Lorraine
