Google's new SERP

So apparently google has rolled out it's new SERP (Search engine result page). I have been having bouts of it previously but it seems it's permanent now.

Am I the only one who thinks it's hideous and totally messy compared to the old one? Underlines are off, font feels too big etc.

The problem for me is that is 10x harder for me to see the result I am looking for. It all looks so blat and uni color now that I don't see what I am interested in right away like I used to.

I have already stopped using google. Only spotted it today but am no longer searching using it.

On another note. I thought the title of this was a Google SRP request initially.

It looks cheap and "wannabe-modern". The "classical" look just looked better. This new look I somehow feel like it's all about "looks" but "crashes a lot" - that's a feeling I get when I see this look.

Also it reminds me of ads on some sites, they also have big titles and the description is grey and small and harder to read, so that you click just for the title...

I really prefered the old look, just looked more serious. This looks like some nooby-webdesigner who thinks that titles have to be BIG and BULKY and the text needs to be small and grey, because titles are the most important thing - while forgetting that it is all about the details, made it.


EDIT: Just feels like it's missing any structure...
